This is an amazing place to stroll around and look at all of the different species of plants, flowers, and trees. The greenhouse is a warm and inviting visit to the tropics!! I highly recommend Luthy Botanical Garden for relaxing fun

I went to the Botanical Gardens in Peoria and it was simply beautiful! The grounds were very well groomed and people were very helpful. It is an escape that is both very therapeutic and in your backyard!

This place was so cheap it might as well be free and right next to the zoo. Kids loved it and it was a fantastic place to enjoy some nature right in the middle of the city

Helped neighbor set up for garden wedding. Arrived 1 hour before opening and helpful staff allowed us to enter and set up canopy and some flower arrangements and extension cords for industrial fans. This place is one of Peoria's hidden treasures and it was sad to realize I had not been back to enjoy it for over 10 years

We had a couple of hours to kill while passing through Peoria, and decided to visit the botanical gardens. A very lovely place to spend some time. Small, but well done. A very serene time.

The location is great, and since it's free with zoo admission why not right?! Unfortunately we were there in basically drought conditions so alot of everything was dried and dead. It's not anybody's fault, just the way weather works. We could tell that when things are green and growing that it would be an amazing place to spend an hour... More

Foreign visitors marveled at the variety of plants in trees in the garden. Less than an hour to tour this enchanted garden!

We suggest going as part of your zoo admission; you can visit for free the same day as your zoo pass i.e. your zoo admission also gets you into Luthy Botanical Garden. There just isn't a lot to see, especially if you go in a time when little is in bloom. There is a small crowded gift shop and a... More
