“A bit underwhelming if your not a Hemingway buff.”

The Hemingway Museum is in a gorgeous building in downtown Oak Park. The museum has a lot of items on display but it may be a bit underwhelming for those who are not Hemingway buffs. Hemingway's birthplace is a short walk away and is open for tours; we enjoyed the information on the tour more than at the museum. More

I visited the Hemingway Museum over the holidays with my husband and found it very informative and interesting on the author's life. There are lots of photos, films and articles documenting his life which you'll enjoy. The museum volunteers are very knowledgeable and are happy to answer questions.
