The River Walk is the gem of Naperville. Parkland and government buildings are along its main span. The municipal center includes a nice outdoor display of "freedom" documents and an interesting 9/11 memorial. You may also cross several covered bridges, stand over the "rapids," and enjoy the sounds of nature (and children playing, of course). There are a few sculptures,... More

A beautiful day in Naperville and was perfect for a day at the Riverwalk. Well played out....Lots of places to sit, play, relax and enjoy the sights. I would imagine how beautiful it is later on when everything is leafed out and in bloom.. A very nice place for everyone to enjoy!

Naperville has done a tremendous job in creating and maintaining the Riverwalk. It is appropriate for children, young adults, adults and seniors.

Lots of people walking their dogs, pushing their kids in strollers. Just not super spectacular in terms of scenery at the time of year we were there.

When family or friends come to visit us in Naperville, we often find ourselves taking a stroll along the West Branch of the DuPage River before or after dinner. Wonderful place for people-watching, duck-watching, or quiet contemplation. Sculptures and fountains are just a couple sights to see along the Riverwalk path.

It was really pretty and informative. There are a lot of sculptures up and down on both side that are varied in topic and very interesting. Also the covered bridges are so different. The water is so nice and to be able to sit and watch the duck swim and play was mesmerizing! A must do in Naperville!

We took our preschool grand-twins and young elementary grandson to the river walk for story time from the library. Wonderful outdoor entertainment with space to relax and have a lite dinner.

Went to see Santa, a little cold but always pretty at the Riverwalk. Have also been in summer time when all the trails are open and it's a great long walk. Also good stroller access to walk with your baby or toddler.
