Visiting from out of state, we were looking for a history tour in the Chicago area, but not downtown. This was perfect! Mike, our guide, had some facinating stories of Naperville. Did you know that Ray Kroc had his start here, or that the world's largest furuniture combany was in Naperville.... There are 40 pieces of art throughout downtown, and... More

Guide was very knowledgeable and enjoyable. Several people on tour were long time residents of Naperville who learned some things and shared some additional interesting information.

This was our sixth food tour over the past ten years, and was as good as or better than the five we have taken in large cities from San Francisco to New York City. Mike was a fantastic guide, sharing the history of Naperville and pointing out historic, architectural, and cultural landmarks as we walked. Even better, the group stopped... More

I didn't know much going in, but was pleasantly surprised how much I learned and enjoyed this 3 hour excursion through Naperville. The walking tour gives great insight into some of Naperville's past. Buildings, churches, homes-all are explained how they came to be and how they play into Naperville's existence today. The other part of the tour is stopping at... More

Great combination of food, a little exercise and some history of Naperville. We stopped at 8 different food/desert/drink places around downtown Naperville. We had a chance to walk off some of the food we ate, walking from one stop to another (equivalent to a few miles). Along the way we stopped at some historical landmarks and learned some of the... This tour is a perfect blend of history, art, sightseeing and tasting for foodies. Mike is a gracious & entertaining guide/host. His knowledge of naperville history is amazing. We are new to Napeville & we were inspired to return to several stops. It was a great 3.5 hours at a leisurely pace. We highly recommend this fun activity.

We visited during Girls' Weekend in late September and this wound up being the highlight of our weekend! You get to enjoy a sampling of food as you get a historical walking tour through Naperville. We would have never learned or experienced all of this on our own without spending countless hours reading ahead of time and carrying tour books... More

We did this as a client event and all of our guests thoroughly enjoyed it! We took a leisurely walk through the local neighborhoods hearing about history, architecture and visited 6 different restaurants all nicely interspersed. Mike was wonderful and amazed us with many wonderful tidbits of Naperville history and food facts. We had a couple of long time Naperville... More
