The beach is a long standing tradition in our household, but each year it gets better and better. Clean, lots of places for sitting in the shade or sun, deep water, slides, sandy beach, food -- what more could you want? The only complaint that I have is that as the beach modernizes, parking becomes more and more difficult. Right... More

Beautiful place to spend the day under the shade of the trees playing cards or gathering a playgroup. Sand area, park area, food available for purchase. Play in the water or get your laps in. A couple blocks from downtown but you feel transported from the city to a good old fashioned day at the beach

A great place to enjoy a summer's afternoon. A large "lake" just off the Riverwalk, it's a family attraction known far and wide. Plenty of elbow room on the deep side for adults without kids. All the screaming is a good distance away. Lunch can be had for reasonable prices but alcohol is out. The time outs for lifeguards to... More

Limited parking and always overcrowded, this joke of a "beach" is a mudhole filled with rowdy kids and other people using other parts of the park. It's not a bad park but calling it a beach is a sick joke.

This sounded like a fun afternoon, but was really crowded - to crowded to accommodate all the people there. It is hard to get an adirondack. Also the sand feels dirty and part of the pool bottom is covered in it where people drag it in on their feet. It is nice that the park provides plenty of shade. And... More

An "old-fashioned" place for family fun. Try it, you'll like it. Clean, unique, swimming atmosphere. Fun for the whole family.

We were visiting Naperville and came across this place on the web. We decided to go here instead of Lake Michigan. This was a great facility that the people of Naperville are lucky to have. It is a unique place with plenty of parking around and a terrific atmosphere. We could easily spend a whole day here and I would... More

Centennial beach is such a great place to hang with the family. Very clean beach and pool, great concession stand and overall nice get away while only minutes from home. There is a reason this beach is used for the many triathlons that take place in Naperville.

Great area to relax, swim, or shop. Centennial Beach is located in downtown Naperville, where you will be surrounded by shopping and restaurants. Nice walking trails if you want to go for a stroll, or if you want to just play in the park.
