Great quarry converted into a local pool. One end allows you to swim in the quarry section where you can float on small rafts or use the diving boards and the other end is like a small beach and wading area for young children. Really fun place, always pretty clean!

We love going to the beach in the summer! You can pack food and drinks and hang out for the day. The lifeguards are great and the staff is mostly friendly. You do have to get there very very close to opening time in order to get chairs. Getting an umbrella is almost impossible. It also can get very crowded... More

We've summered at the Beach for over 20 years. When our daughter was younger, we'd pack a picnic and enjoy this beautiful, clean property with a zero depth water entry at the sandy shore, which gradually turns into 15 feet depth for diving, swimming or just relaxing on the secured floating piers. Now my husband and I spend every weekend... More

You don't find places like this much. Its an old quarry turned into a massive public pool. It also has a real sand beach. Highly recommended, and quite unusual in this part of the country.

Been going here since 1968. The natural stone walls in the pool make it seem more like a lake than a community pool and the floating rafts afford hours a good clean fun playing "pier tag".

Went with my daughter-in-law and young granddaughters several times this summer and loved it. Nice grassy area complete with adirondack chairs to lounge in the shade or sun and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere. The sandy beach and sprinklers provided tons of fun for all the young children. Older kids and adults loved the pool slide. The pool has a very... More

Developed during the '30's with WPA funds, the recently renovated Centennial Beach offers summer fun for all. Concessions on site so there is no need to bring refreshments, just a towel and swimwear. Adult float early on weekends.

An old quarry filled with water. This is The Beach. It has a grassy section with picnic tables and a playground. There is an actual sandy beach on the shallow end, including a slide. There are lap lanes and diving in the very deep end. You must pass a swim test to go deep. There are open swim times and... More

This a nice place for the family. If you want a chair you better come early not enough to go around. Good staff that is attentive.

It has the feel of a nice lake in a wooded area. They have a nice sand area for the kids to play in (rather large). A raft floats in the deeper area. They have diving boards including a high dive. A volleyball area and decent concessions. They also have grills and picnic tables. Make a nice day of it.
