Several Families went together, some of the smaller children liked the play area with farms & equip best, some of the other children could not get their fill of climbing onto real farm equip and pretending. The Dad's seemed to enjoy the virtual part and were in competitions. Mom's liked the gift shop. Best part it is Free!

After visiting the HQ we did the Pavilion which is along the river in Moline. That is basically a great playground as even more machine to look, touch and few moiré things to learn about agriculture. Few goods things for the kids to play with and they like the simulators so they can dig and fill up some trucks with... More

If you aren't a farmer and ever wanted the experience of sitting on a tractor seat, this is the place to go. There is lots of big machinery. Whether you are an adult or have kids in tow, this is a great place to go to see and experience John Deere first-hand. Oh, and bring your camera! There is also... More

We made a stop here on our way back home from Dubuque on a recommendation of a friend. It was well worth the side trip. I come from a farming background, so I can really appreciate the machinery. We never had anything this fancy growing up. They are all open, so you can sit inside and check things out. All... More

I have visited the John Deere Pavillion several times since the opening. The displays have been reorganized since my last visit. I think this arrangement is better. There is a story wall with the history of John Deere ends with a cut-way of a 4010 tractor. The first 4 cylinder tractor, start of the new generation of tractors for JD.... More

We come here every time we are in the Quad Cities. Our 3 boys climb on all the machinery and can sit in the cabs. One thing I recommend is also hitting the Deere & Company World Headquarters a few miles away on John Deere Expressway. At the HQ building, they have even more stuff at their product display there.... More

How rare to find a completely free attraction such as this! The JD Pavilion is fun for the whole family. There are great big machines to see, interesting information to read and a nice JD video to watch. JD has a storied and fascinating history and their pride in their company and products is palpable. They have an awesome gift... More

There are lots to see and do at the John Deere Pavilion, and you don't need to be a farmer to enjoy it! There are interactive displays, you can "drive" a combine simulator, and even climb up and sit in a real one. Great for kids and adults.

Even if your not a farmer, this is a highly professional exhibit of farming & farm life. It is a huge hit with both gender's of children. They can climb up the provided stairs and get a view from up above.. This place is both for the youth & older generations. The personnel there are friendly and informative.
