Great here, with nice staff in shop. Lovely play area for children as well. Walks are nice and views over the Conwy Estuary are fabulous. Plenty of parking. However the cafe was not good. There is nor enough room there and everything is too much trouble. I went there at 4.10 last Monday with my little grand daughter and she... More

A very relaxing morning out. Excellant views of Conway estuary. Plenty of hides round an enclosed pond. There was an RSPB guide in one of the hides, who was very interesting to chat to. There's a cafe and shop on site. The loo's were clean

Great place - £6.50 for family. Lovely walks through nature with spectacular views to the mountains across the estuary. Saw lots of wildlife, ponies, a mouse and obviously loads of birds. Lovely gift shop and kids play area. We spent an enjoyable few hours there.

We called in here really for a snack lunch and an opportunity for our grandchildren to spend some pocket money in the shop. We are RSPB members - so are our grandchildren - and this was a flying visit on the way home from our family holiday in Anglesey. It was an ideal stopping place for a snack and a... More

Noisy from the surrounding roads but a beautiful oasis with helpful and enthusiastic staff. Hard to believe it was once a construction site!

We really like to come here, especially since it had a new play area. There are always great open days with loads of great things to do for kids. The cafe is lovely and relaxing with it's panoramic views. There is a great walk too, with loads of birds, plants and sometimes even wild horses to see.

The busy A55 feels miles away, instead of yards when you step into this reserve. It's so pleasant and peaceful, and there is so much to see. We were lucky enough to see a robin fledgling sitting on a post, and he wasn't in the least bit disturbed by our presence, which was lovely. Further around the reserve, we watched... More

We were staying in nearby Llandudno and as we went to the reserve on foot it was not an easy place to find or to approach. It would be rather easier to get to by car as it's off a busy road. Once we reached the reserve, however, our struggle to arrive was quickly forgotten as we found a lovely... More
