The reserve is in a beautiful setting and many birds can be seen, it is lovely to walk around at your own pace and take advantage of the many benches there are dotted around. There are several hides around the reserve which are great for sitting quietly and looking out onto various bodies of water. There is ample parking at... More

Lovely to come here again - the walk round the reserve just suits us time-wise and always good to sit down with a pot of tea and a pasty ! Very helpful young lady phoned through to RSPB South Stack to see if the breeding sea birds had arrived - which they had - so that was our next stop... More

Visited this relatively new RSPB reserve at low tide on a rather windy day. The staff are all enthusiastic and welcoming and it has a good cafe/ shop. There are a variety of walks but the best is to take the 2 mile circle which includes walking along the estuary itself. There were quite a variety of seabirds around though... More

All the different birds and the noise they make. Also they have great pedestrian infrastucture when crossing the marshes to see the wading birds.

Although we have been to the reserve many times in the past, this was our first visit since the café opened. The reserve provides easy, flat, pleasant walking, with good views of the birds on the water from the hides. Also a stunning view of Conwy Castle. The new wildlife garden is interesting, and there were plenty of small birds... More

Had good brisk walk round the reserve, not a lot of birds to see at this time of year, but the views and walks were very good. Also lovely café, shop and really helpful staff.

It is a pleasure to walk around the reserve with its views of the Conwy Valley and the Estuary. Even if birds are of minor interest to you, the walk alone is worth a visit

Immediately off the A55 and right on the Conway Valley. Plenty to see while we were there and we took advantage of being parked so close to Conway and walked into town using the footpaths available!

I love visiting the Conwy Nature Reserve, and was lucky enough to experience seeing something 'new' (to me at least) on every visit this summer - from different birds to unusual plants (Bee Orchids/ Evening Primroses) and catching glimpses of foxes and bats. I joined the weekly, evening bird watch throughout June, July and August, and enjoyed increasing my knowledge... More

We spent the morning here. It is about a mile walk round with six viewing hides. We did not go prepared so we did not have any binoculars. If you go it is better to go at high tide so all the wading birds come of the estuary. On a nice day it is a pleasant walk around the marsh.... More
