My wife and her parents planed on gambling one day here. We liked it so much we stayed one more day. We both one free night stay plus breakfast. It was sure nice to be able to gamble and not have to deal with all of the smoke! One big draw back was you had to buy your drinks. Not... More

This my first totally negative review. Unfortunately I can't think of one nice thing to say about this place. Outside it smelled bad and the inside of the casinos literally stank. It looked dirty and well, just plain seedy. I put a dollar in a machine...and the machine was broken. We have been in several Harrah's so we were stunned... More

I never would have expected the wonderful surroundings if I have not experienced them for myself. Make it a date on your next trip in this area of the country, you will not be disappointed.

Good: This is the closest casino to Nashville and it was great that it was a Harrah's - gimme my comps!; many areas are non-smoking, so it felt healthier than other smoke-filled casinos; there is a wide variety of games, many penny slots; waitresses were constantly coming around offering drinks. Bad: People are losing A LOT here. I've never seen... More

The buffet was fantastic. The roast beef was some of the best we have had. Of course with a buffet food is plentiful and varied. Well worth the price. We are seniors so really enjoyed the nickel video polka. Staff was very good and helpful.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a night, as it was the only thing available at the time on our long road from Georgia to Kansas City. The room was very nice and clean, and the bathroom very spacious. The beds were also quite comfortable. I can't say much for the view, as ours was of the parking lot,... More

We live in Metropolis and often take the casino, restaurant and hotel for granted. Hotel is actually very nice with a great convention center area. The Harrah's Range Restaurant is excellent. Great food, atmosphere and service. If you didn't know you were on the banks of the Ohio River in Southern Illinois, you'd think you were in Vegas or Atlantic... More

I was traveling "solo" on my return home from Atlanta to St. Louis. This was the perfect stop. I had a king size bedroom on the 4th floor facing the Ohio River. The room was great! So clean, updated and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in! The TV was updated...all was in... More

Played the 2 cent slots; never did that before but there were only 3 in this location and only machines open. Won a little, lost a little but 3 hours play for $20 isn't bad and had great fun too. As in Cherokee, NC or Las Vegas they came around asking for complimentary drinks. Also ate at the buffet and... More
