Melita Honey is a wonderful place to stop that my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed on our journey. There are over 50 different types of honey to try and will easily cater to all different taste types. We went quite early in the morning so the honey that had been put out was nice and fresh. Service here was great... More

This was a delightful stop on our journey that we would do again, without any hesitation. Walking through the door of this quaint store we were met and welcomed by friendly staff and an array of honeys and nougats on display and for tastings! We were encouraged to try as many as we wanted. While this was a wonderful tasting... More

I first visited the honey farm several years ago. On this trip I was keen to make a return visit and was pleased to find it to be just as great as I remembered! So many different honeys to taste and try - straight, creamed, fruit, chocolate... The shop also features some other honey and bee related merchandise. Tucked away... More

We stopped by on our way from Lonnie to Trowunna wildlife park. The farm is merely a shop. I think a long time ago you used to be able to walk outside to the bee boxes. There was a large variety of honey to sample and purchase. I couldn't try everything. The leatherwood honey was very unique and delicious. I've... More

Lots of fun products! Tons of honey to sample! Straight honey, honey mixed with fruits, and chocolates. Can see the bees working too. The ice cream was great.

The glass working beehive display was very well done and provided a good insight as to how bee hive work. The incredible flavours and variety of honeys and honey products was simply amazing. The attraction's displays and products are very well presented, while the staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with information about their products. We could not believe... More

The shop is advertised as being open untill 4pm of a Friday. We arrived at 3.30pm only to be told as soon as we walked through the door that all tasting had finished and the ice creams were being packed away so we had to "hurry" if we wanted any. May as well have closed the store at 3.30 if... More

Came here for a bit of sightseeing, and enjoyed the samples. Lots of different honey varieties easily over 30. There were also different honey cosmetics. There is honey icecream to enjoy as well. The children enjoyed the beehive in which you can see the bees coming inside the hive through a clear pipe into a perspex enclosed hive. Very interesting.... More

Visited the honey farm and museum and it was great. There are so many honeys for you to try. The variety is amazing both sweet and savoury varieties. There are recipe cards to give you ideas on how you might use the produce. The honeys are superb. I ended up buying quite a variety. There is also a small museum... More
