I'm from Europe. But if you go to the parks in the USA. then back in europe they are nothing. This is just amazing with the roller coasters and all! Do take the fastlane passes; it's worth the money for sure.

I visited the park on a Saturday with 3 girlfriends. It was packed to say the least but we were expecting that. Parking was $25, that seemed pretty high to me. The lines were long but we figured that they would be. We only ended up riding 3 coasters but they were awesome, I love roller coasters! The Raging Bull,... More

Park was very busy and wait times were long. Food prices were very high. Park was not very clean. Employees were not very friendly.

If you can get past these two things you will have a great day. Line ups on a weekday were in excess of 90 minutes per ride and food was highly over priced. We did enjoy the day and had a great time. Rides were incredible.

This was my first time at Great America since 1997. You have to pay an additional $25 for parking which seems a bit steep. There were a fair number of people at the park on the last Wed in August. We opted not to try to get Flash passes. We were able to ride the Demon quickly. We moved on... More

We drove 4 hours on a hot day to find the water park was closed. Paid $25 for parking. Several rides were closed and the remaining rides had 90 minute waits. the park was run down and I was not impressed. We left the park immediately even after paying the price of admission and the ridiculous parking fee. The web... More

The ONLY negative thing I can say is that the lines were really long. 45-100 minute waits for all the popular bigger rides. I did REALLY enjoy them when I was finally able to get on them though. So my plan for next time is to get a flash pass so I can actually feel like I'm getting my money's... More

I went with family for FrightFest. We all had a great time. The tone it down during the day for the kids and then when it starts to get dark they start to spook everyone in the park. It is fun. It is very crowded. If you are not a fan of crowds, I would not recommend going to this.... More

My kids got passes from school for reading and we just realized that they were about to expire so we decided to go to the water park. We paid over $130.00 for 2 tickets (and that was a coke promo) including parking which we thought was extremely expensive. Since we did not have much choice in picking a day we... More

This will be my fourth time at Six Flags Great America since 2005. We went to the park Aug. 14 (Friday) Aug. 16 (Sunday) and Aug. 17 (Monday). I will review by each day. Aug 14 (Friday): We arrived at our hotel in Gurnee at about 5:00 pm so we got to the park around 6:00 pm (after walking). We... More
