We went to Great America for two days in a row. There was barely any lines and we had such a great time. The grounds seemed well taken care of and my family and I had such a wonderful time.

The 4 of us went for my sons 13th birthday. He loves rides! Overpriced day was going well for him until we enteres the waterpark area. Jammed with people and filthy.ONE locker area with filthy floors, poop smelling lockers, half naked people! I held my breath as i held the plastic curtain closed for my daughter.(we lived at waterparks when the kids... More

Great Adventure is a great place to go with teens! We had a blast on the few rides we went on but hated the 2 hr line ups! I recommend buying the fast lane passes that let's u skip the lines as it took most of our day waiting in long hot lines. Another down fall was the fact we... More

The teens wanted to go before school started up again. The place is BEAUTIFUL and CLEAN (employees constantly walking around with a broom cleaning up litter). I would definitely BUY the flash pass and spend the extra $$--it is well worth the price. They have a nice food court with lots to choose from, although I heard many families getting... More

As I have gotten older, my opinion of what makes a good amusement park has changed. As a young man, I would have said that I enjoyed the big coasters and flirting with the pretty girls. Now as a parent, I am really looking for something that my whole family can enjoy without certain members having a lot of downtime.... More

My 7-year old son and I made our first trip to Great America with high expectations, and left disappointed. Seven is a tricky age because it's too old for the tot rides, but not old enough for some of the newer, more adventurous rides. Of the rides we were looking forward to, it was surprising how many were out of... More

I had a very bad experience about 10 years ago at this park and was never going to go back. After ten years I gave them another chance. I ordered two $39 tickets off the Walmart employee discount webpage. The purchase came to $97 with taxes and FEES. They wouldn't even tell you what the fees are for. When we... More

Great America is one of the nicest looking Six Flags parks that I have been to. The employees were all very friendly and the landscaping is great. The lines were long when we went so if you are thinking about a trip here I would suggest looking into the Flash pass so you can skip the lines. I would really... More

We only had one day to spend at Six Flags Great America, so we decided to spend the extra money and bought the Flash Pass (just the basic one). It was well worth it! We were able to go on every ride we wanted (except Goliath, which was closed until 4:30 and then had a 3 hour line almost instantly).... More
