Overall, our day at Great America was very fun! We did run into a few disappointments, but first I will tell about the good points. Every staff person we encountered were the friendliest and most professional than I have seen at an amusement park for a long, long time! The people running the rides were enthusiastic along with the riders,... More

Go to Six Flags Great America for a fueled and fun-filled day of amazing roller coaster riding! The heart pounding thrill and wind blown experience is unique on each coaster ride! Just wear comfortable clothes and gym shoes so you have time to run through the park to get in line to enjoy each of the attractions. Goliath, Batman, Superman... More

This has been a long standing attraction in Chicagoland. The park is very clean. Even the bathrooms are kept to a high standard. The rides are fun however some of the rides have frequent breakdowns. The Superman ride has broken down every trip we have made in the past two years. This makes the wait very long. However if you... More

We went on Monday July 21st. We thought going on a Monday would be best, we were wrong. Way too many people, very disorganized. We arrived 10 minutes before the park opened because the lines for parking were terrible. Cars were not staying in there lanes and nobody was helping direct traffic. At least put up cones for the lanes.... More

If you have a ton of money then Six Flags is for you. The food is overpriced and not very good. The rides are fun, but if go on the weekend be prepared to wait for almost every ride in the park.

We are season pass holders so usually visit either the thrill rides or the waterpark on any given day. This review is for the waterpark only. If I can give one important piece of advice it's this - don't go on a weekend if you can help it. Weekdays here are awesome and much less crowded. There are plenty of... More

We went to Six Flags Great America on a Thursday. We got to the park a little before it opened and we were able to get on the Goliath with just a 40 minute wait. It is totally worth the wait. It's one of the best roller coasters we have been on. On the flip side, the food was disgusting.... More

I went on a Saturday, and it was insane! Only ride I could get on was the train cause the wait was only 10 minutes. even the Little Dipper was over an hour. Goliath was 2.5 hours!!! Yikes!!! Will wait for Fright Feast when things are usually much better!!!
