I did this tour last year, the lady in costume was very theatrical. She lead us down a wooded path, I feel knee deep into a sink hole she did not keep an eye on her group. I cut... read more

There are no restrooms available before you start the tour, so if you take the tour, be sure you've found one elsewhere first. The next thing to know is there doesn't seem to be a limit to how many people can sign up. There were so many people there we couldn't hear a thing. The most important thing to know... More

I did this tour last year, the lady in costume was very theatrical. She lead us down a wooded path, I feel knee deep into a sink hole she did not keep an eye on her group. I cut and bruised my leg but was lucky I didn't break it. She kept walking and some others in the group helped... More

I was very disappointed with this tour. It wasn't scary at all but I just kept thinking, this is dumb. Not worth the visit.

The owner of the House was a good guide, she was very in character, which made the tour fun and enjoyable. She has definitely done her homework and has some good stories. If you are out of shape or have bad knees, this probably isn't the tour for you. One of the men barely made it up the steep streets... More

This was a unique walking tour where the fictional character Annie Wiggins describes ghost stories as they happened through her eyes. The tour took place during sunset and Annie was dress in period clothing adding the the effect. The tour wasn't scary, but it was definitely interesting and some of the stories gave me the chills. It lasted a little... More

I went on the Annie Wiggins Ghost Tour this past weekend and was really disappointed in the tour's execution. It should have been called "random made up story hour" instead of a "ghost tour". My family and I have been going to Galena for 20+ years so to say we've done it all is an understatement. We first went on... More

Taking a trip with all the women in my family. I emailed to reserve the Friday night tour. I was pleased to see she was quick to respond with a confirmation. A few nights later, we check in at the hotel and see a handout advertising the Annie Wiggins Friday Night Ghost Tour. We show up at her doorstep 15... More

My husband and I took this tour in October 2011 - we got tickets though our b&b's History Package. We love ghost tours, and try to go on one in every city we visit. Not because we think we'll find ghosts or have paranormal experiences, but we go because it's cool to learn about the history of the area. From... More

This is a very interesting and fun tour to go on. The guide dressed in period clothing and tells the history and stories as if we are actually in the 1800s. She painted a wonderful visual for us and I felt like I was really in that time period for the tour! There is a lot of walking involved, some... More
