The casino was nice. They had a good selection slot machines various prices. The table seemed a little expensive to buy into. But we had much time playing on the slide. So I didn't win any money to pay I'll send work out pretty well. My point last long time on the slot machine. It was definitely the casino I... More

I'm a concierge in a hotel Downtown Chicago. I took visitors from Mexico because this place is always talked about. When my family and I got to the security check point, PHILLIP, the security did not accept their ID so when I asked to use the bathroom at least, he tells me "Thank God you have an actual legal state... LIKED: It's fairly new, it's pretty. DISLIKED: Low-denomination machines were harder to find than many places, minimum bets were higher, and the machines were pretty darn tight.

Not to bad of size for a casino. However, it was way too pack to enjoy any type of gambling! No seats at slots and tables were 3 plus deep. Bar service way too slow. Left after 45 minutes. I am sure it is better on a weekday.

I've visited many casino's around the world, including Monte Carlo, Monaco several times. I have never seen anything like this "Rivers Casino" in Des Plaines, Illinois! Disappointing is the 'best' rating I can give it. I've heard from many others about the problem, but really didn't believe them. Not until now though!! Last night I decided to go and see... More

The Blue Line EL from Chicago is a fast and easy trip from downtown Chicago. There is a shuttle bus that takes you from the Des Plaines stop to the doors of the Casino. The casino is in a safe neighborhood. Food choices there are abundant. Slots and table play areas are well laid out.

I thought that the slot machines in Vegas were tight, but these are far worse. They have more $.02 machines than $.01 machines and your money goes pretty fast. I wasn't betting all that much either.

Beware - slots are terrible, spent so much money with no return. I would advise you to go somewhere else!

The Casino is built on the premise that we don't need the small time gamblers and it shows. There are hardly any penny slots. The minimum buy in seems to be the 2 cents slots. Which in Vegas is totally non existent. They do have nickle machines, then it seems to jump up to dollars, with very few quarter slots... More

Hugo Frogs is a great Steak House ( crab cakes to die for ) The martini's are great. If you gamble good luck, I find the slots really really tight.
