We made a special spot in our vacation to stop here. We were rather disappointed. There is no surfing attraction as pictured here and on Facebook. After less than an hour there they closed the water slides/lily pads/zero entry pool. It was the color of swamp water. The “lap pool” wasn’t a lap pool. It was whacked and stacked with kids. The other attractions quickly overfilled and it was wall to wall people. We ended up leaving after less than two hours there.

Staffed mostly by teens and run by the city government . Customer service is not a priority. The last time I visited in 2013 many of the water features were broken. The sandbox area was full of broken plastic pieces from the sand toys. You literally have to smuggle snacks. They look through all of your bags to make sure that you don't byo. The problem with this is the parent and tot swim time starts 2 hours before the concessions even open. Clearly they are oblivious to the fact that little kids need snacks and drinks. I'm sure they would tell you you can exit and walk to your car to retrieve a snack and then come back in. Which is totally ridiculous. Either make snacks available or don't forbid them.

We wish we could give you better news on this popular park. Unfortunately, we found it to be overpriced (even for the Local Rate), and unclean.
We brought 5 youngsters along for the day. Each one was super excited to be at their first waterpark. Luckily, they're all too young to realize that there were obvious sanitation issues, and safety concerns.
We watched a toddler excrete into a wading pool, while the Lifeguard and Staff looked on. It took an irate parent to address the Manager, to get the pool evacuated and cleaned.
The teen worker assigned to the job, proceeded to dump a 5 gallon bucket of harsh chemicals into the pool, without so much as a warning, red tape, or other Notice to patrons.
No sooner had that bucket been dumped, when one sweet-faced little toddler scooted right in, ahead of his unknowing parents. We had to jump up and wave to them, so that they knew the pool was unsafe.
Splash City should have some sort of protocol (closing a pool, marking it Off Limits, or otherwise) for situations such as these. Who knows what kind of problem a young child could develop after being exposed to such a high concentration of chemicals ??
Even though we had on swimwear, we chose not to use any of the water pools. Our feeling was that it seemed rather unkempt and dirty.
Also, the staff at Splash City REALLY needs to enforce the No Smoking policies. This is considered to be a Municipal Park, and the regulations should be governed accordingly.
We hope that Splash City works on becoming more professional, and better managed. We don't intend to return until it is...and we'll let others know what we think, until we find out otherwise.

We felt that the price was a little high, $54 for 2 kids age 7 & 12 and also 2 adults. It was fun, the kids loved it. But we were expecting a bigger park, advertised 7 water slides and there are only 2 big ones. The others were are all part of the kids attractions. The kids did enjoy them all. The bucket at the Monsoon Mountain seems to never spill over. I watched person after person stand and watch the bucket with hopes of being drenched, only to give up and walk away. It was a nice relaxing time, just thought we were going to see more attractions for the price.

I'd seen the Groupon for this waterpark and was interested in visiting with my spouse and two sons. It's a good thing that my brother, who lives in Swansea, hosted a birthday party for my niece here before I had a chance to pay for it myself, or I would've been much more disappointed. This place is tiny compared to other waterparks. The lazy river is pathetic and since I don't (read: can't) swim, it is the only feature that I enjoy when I visit waterparks. I expected the park to be much bigger. As a plus, the pizza wasn't terrible, the price is reasonable, and my little one and the smaller children (age 7 and under) had a blast. Too bad the party was for a 16 yr old.
The waterpark is too small to enjoy and pales in comparison to others. If you want to bring smaller children, they'll love it. I don't recommend it for anyone older than a preteen.

Fun time for the kids, plenty to do. It's not raging rivers or six flags but we live here so it works and the CARD resident discount is nice. Better be hot out to enjoy the cool water and you better make a day of it to get your money's worth.

My teenagers are 12 and 15. The crowd this place is attracting is not ok. I'm not sure it's safe to drop them off there. Definitely don't bring valuables or leave them in your car.

Went here on a Saturday with our 3 kids. They are 7, 5, and 2. They had a great time. We got here when it opened and it wasn't too crowded. It got busier as the day went on, but there was never much of a wait time for any of the slides. The only complaint was the water was freezing!! We brought a picnic lunch and they have a little spot outside of the gates where you can eat. You have to get your hand stamped so you can come back in, because they don't allow outside food inside the park.
In all there were 4 adults and 3 children who went and the price was around 74 dollars to get in.
