This is our second visit to the zoo and it was great. We got there right when it opened it was a great day to walk around as it wasn't hot or crowded. The elephants were not out, so that was a bummer and they were cleaning the lion's pool so we couldn't see the lions (we could hear them... More

We refer to this as "the beginner zoo." It only takes an hour or two to walk through...great for little ones. Since I was little my family has made it a yearly tradition to visit the zoo. It's a little expensive for a small zoo, but it's worth the extra money as they are continuing to update it and bring... More

We were gifted three free passes for visiting the zoo that my parents won at a 4-H raffle. Upon arrival, we were inform that they no longer accept "these" passes. There was no expiration date on the passes. The manager simply stated they no longer accept these, period. Horrible PR. Sad to say that this local business no longer supports... More

This is a zoo set up for kids. There are plenty of animals to see. Walking paths go from one exhibit to another. you can get a close up look at the giraffes. We've been there twice, this year and last, with grandchildren and they have enjoyed it. The elephants have not been outside or available to see on either... More

This is a nice smaller zoo with something for everyone. If you are driving along the Interstate take time to break up a drive. There are many interesting displays for any age.

This is a smaller zoo, but it was perfect for us and our 3 year old daughter. She especially loved the petting zoo area, feeding the giraffes and the carousel. Pricing was great, parking lot was good, location was great. We would return.

First time visit to this zoo (over the years we have visited 50 zoos throughout the US and Canada). This one would fall in lower third, nice to visit, pretty easy to get around, mostly level walking paths. Old style bird house and most animals in cages, although there is a large open area for the giraffes. Some beautiful leopards... More

I went with my niece (5 years old). She loved all the animals and exhibits. I am in a wheelchair, so there were a few things I couldn't do or get to easily, but overall we had a blast.

Its rather compact size and diverse animal population make it a fun place for younger kids. With lions, leopards, wolves, bobcats, zebras, and giraffe (plus many more), there's something for everyone. Like many small zoos, renovations seem to be ongoing...but, Niabi is well kept, clean, and fun. Of course there's a train that traverses the perimeter for a nice overview... More

We went on Good Friday which also was a free day so the place was packed. They have worked so hard trying to improve the place. The lion exhibit was under a major renovation but we was able to see them in a different location. Sadly the elephants were not there due to the exhibit needs remodeled. Even with all... More
