Very nice zoo, especially for little ones.

We really enjoyed our day trip to this zoo although it was quite a while ago. This is a great place to visit for kids, especially younger kiddos. The price is reasonable for a... read more

I grew up going here. When you're a kid and go to a zoo, you think it's the best thing going. For the size of the QC area, it's a good size zoo. They have many animals and attractions in which you can see non natives. The most recent time up there we went, and it was about the same.... More

We have been to this zoo several times. boo at the zoo was fun, but10am to 3pm seem a little early. It was a lot better when they had the elephants, since they are gone it has lost something. I wish you could buy packages like admittance, train, carousel, and miscellaneous things like animal feeding and such Instead of paying... More

We really enjoyed our day trip to this zoo although it was quite a while ago. This is a great place to visit for kids, especially younger kiddos. The price is reasonable for a family, although there are bigger zoos a bit further away that are free. All in all, we would definitely come back again and visit again! The... More

Our family visited this zoo on August 3rd. It is a very small zoo which is nice if you have small children, but the price is way too high! Our day was very disappointing since most animals were not visible. The highlight of our trip was feeding the giraffes. We paid $4 per person and we each got TWO pieces... More

This is a very small zoo with very easy accessibility. The animals have fairly large pens to roam and were quite active. Our personal favorite was walking through the Lorakeet aviary. These birds were beautiful and social. We spent nearly 15 minutes inside this habitat just watching the birds! The giraffes were beautiful, as were the lions. There are multiple... More

Recently visited the zoo with my parents. It is not advertised or as well known as other zoos but worth the visit. The property/enclosers are well maintained. The zoo is smaller and provides a more intimate visit. You can take older folks and little ones that maybe get tired easier than others. They will appreciate the quaintness of it. There... More

We loved this zoo! It's small, but your able to get really close to the animals and it's very laid back. No one was rushing you through the exhibits. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, and the staff was very friendly. We had a great time!

You may see from my other reviews that I'm a zoo person. Wherever/whenever I travel, I visit the local zoo. My cousin, her two young children, my uncle, and I visited the zoo together hours before I flew back home (the zoo is very close to the Moline airport). It's a small zoo, but has lots to see for its... More

I have been to this zoo many times. As a teacher I used to take my kindergarten classes but have not been the last couple of years. I recently took my five year old granddaughter. First of all, I want to say that the landscaping is beautiful. They have a nice entrance with plenty of gates to enter. Many of... More
