It's a small zoo but just big enough for small kids and the adults who have to chase them. Kids under 2 are free, adults are $8.25 The kids will love the train ride, extra $2 and carousel extra $2. However, check with the zoo, I believe Tuesdays the price drops to $5.25. It's a zoo, they have to make... More

This zoo is small but excellent for younger children as it has a train that travels along the edge of the zoo and a fun merry-go-round in the center. There is a koi pond where you can feed the fish, 3 lions, and other animals outside. There is a an area with snakes for those who like to "shiver" and... More

The poor animals are in little habitats they look so sad it's a shame. My children felt really sad to see the animals this way. They charge you for nothing to see, there was no Australian walk,no animals to see there. This zoo needs a major upgrade or shut it down

This zoo is nothing like your big city zoo's, in the very best of ways. They still have a good variety of animals to choose from, and incorporate different activities for certain animals (such as feeding the giraffes, a highlight of the zoo). This also makes the zoo much easier to get around, and won't tire you out completely. They... More

How cool is it to feed a giraffe? Super cool! The Monkeys were crazy hyper. I've never seen monkeys so playful, we spent most of our time with the monkeys! :)

This zoo was overall ok. For driving 2 hours away and having to pay to get in, i would have rathered gone to St. Louis Zoo for free for the same distance. There were not a lot of animals and the animals they did have were all in hiding. It did have an amazing exhibit for the giraffes, you pay... More

Cost a bit more than I would have liked for the size of the park; that said, we were able to watch an Eagle eat from about 4 feet away!! All the animals were at ground level which was a great experience for our entire family. The kids particularly loved the petting/feeding zoo.

Some of the animals were not ready for visitors due to the frigid temps that week for example the giraffes were housed and fed... More

My husband and I took our 2 grandkids ages 8 & 4. They loved the train ride. My granddaughter loved the pony rides. You can feed the animals at certain stations and the aviary is cool for the kids. The petting zoo is great as well, and for a small fee you can feed the animals there as well. There... More
