Awesome zoo , Lots to see and do! Train Ride, Carousel, Feed the Giraffes, Koi Pond, Donkey Rides, ...... great fun for ALL ages! We went the first week that it was open for the year. Some of the animals were not ready for visitors due to the frigid temps that week for example the giraffes were housed and fed... More

My husband and I took our 2 grandkids ages 8 & 4. They loved the train ride. My granddaughter loved the pony rides. You can feed the animals at certain stations and the aviary is cool for the kids. The petting zoo is great as well, and for a small fee you can feed the animals there as well. There... More

Friday October 24th .. We decided to do an adventure and our first stop was the Niabi Zoo. What a surprise for some reason the zoo was free this day. This is a small zoo but for it's size it had/has quite a few large animals. My favorite was the large cats and next the giraffes. My husband enjoyed the... More

I was at this zoo 11 years ago when my son was 4. Always wanted to get back there I enjoyed it so much. My husband, my 15 year old son and I went this past weekend and it was even better! We took the train around the park when we came in and when we got off the train... More

Nice zoo to walk around. Not a whole lot of animals but it's still enough to kill a few hours with the kids. Fairly priced to get in.

They have more animals than Brookfield Zoo in Chicago, and no crowds or waits in line. You are able to get closer to the animals and the zoo is the perfect size not to small and not to big. Perfect for families with smaller children.

Yes some crucial, typical zoo animals are missing, but it's still a good time for all ages. Less expensive than other zoos. Worth a visit if you're in the area with your family.

We went on a Thursday (July 31st) and it was not crowded at all. Admission is not bad, Adults $8.25, children 3-12 $6.25, Seniors $7.25 and kids 2 and under are free. Parking is free. Takes about 3 hours to go through. Not a real large type of zoo. The Giraffe feeding was kind of a joke....... the line was... More

Those expecting a zoo like you would find in a major metropolitan area would be disappointed with the Niabi Zoo. As a resident of the area who had not been to Niabi for perhaps five years,I was thrilled with what I saw when I took my three year old granddaughter there recently. The grounds were well cared for with attractive planted... I've taken my two children - 4 and 6 - to a lot of zoos in the midwest, but none was as good of an all around package for their age than the Niabi Zoo. First, the admission for an adult and two kids was very reasonable ($20, I believe), and the charges for additional activities (Train Ride, Pony Ride,... More
