Leon is also a good singer

We enjoyed this tour and Leon, gave us an extra treat of singing on the tour! I think the tour encompassed most everything we wanted to see in the short time we had in Chicago.

Recently I traveled along with my Family to Chicago in May/2015. The experience is horrible. The wait time of the buses are around 2 hours. when we called the customer care they mostly kept on hold without giving proper response. During the rainy day services were stopped by 3.00 PM only. few people with less buses. I would not recommend... More

We had a repeat of our excellent experience with GrayLine tours in San Francisco. We took the Grand Tour that includes both North and South Chicago and Hancock Tower's 360.Pat, the driver, who is a replica of Opra is amazing. Her driving skills are par excellence and so also her behavior. The young tour guide was very informative and made the tour a... We did the Gray Line Hop on/ Hop off tour, so we could stop at the attractions that we wanted to see the most. The only bad part was the waiting around times. Getting from the starting point to the end point took a long time. It took a big chunk out of our day and tired us out. On... More

THis tour was excellent. THe guide pointed out all the sights. THe driver did a great job, too. I was I could remember their names. It was extra special to hop out at U of C Rockefella memorial and at 31st beach. A really nice touch playing Jim Croce's Bad, Bad, Leroy Brown on the way down to the south... More

This is the worst choice you can make in Chicago. I got this due to hop on off option which does not exist. These buses run in a way that you can not ever come back to the same place whitout having to run the over again the entire circuit...waste of time and money.

We took the open top tour and did the full 2 hours in one trip. Gave a great appreciation of land marks and bearings. Joshua was great fun and gave a nice balance of tourist info and history.

We hopped on the Gray Line tour at Water Tower and the bus was basically empty, the first guide we had was tough to hear and did not seem enthusiastic at all. We got off at the Willis Tower and hopped back on the Gray Line a couple hours later to finish the tour. This bus was about half full... More

Before taking a tour, I looked at reviews which were less than favorable. Still I risked taking this tour. I booked it online and called the company to schedule pick up. I was picked up on time from my downtown hotel 30 min. before the beginning of the tour and taken to the company office to join the others. The... More

My husband, my daughter, and I took this 4 hour city tour on a Saturday in Janruary. It was awful! So very boring, and as another reviewer pointed out, no hop on hop off during the winter. The entire 4 hours we were let off once at a conservatory for 20 minutes, and another time near the end of the... More

Staying in Downtown / The Loop

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown / The Loop
Often visitors' first stop in Chicago, The Loop is a good starting point to sample the city's energy and flavor. This central business district boasts Michelin-rated restaurants, upscale hotels, premier shopping, and enough arresting architecture to keep your camera busy for hours. You won’t find too many photo galleries of downtown Chicago without a shot of Millennium Park and Cloud Gate (“The Bean”), one of the most iconic landmarks in the city. A stunning skyline coupled with cultural attractions like the Art Institute of Chicago present a Downtown where work and play peacefully coexist.
