We took thus tour of North & South Chicago including the John Hancock Observatory. The tour was extensive and our tour guide, Leon, was very knowledgeable. We highly recommend this tour.

We did the North side tour and it was excellent. Our guide was full of information and made it very enjoyable. I grew up in the suburbs and still learned a lot! The off bus part at Lincoln Park Zoo and Conservatory was wonderful! Definitely would recommend this.

Used Gray Line once again to get acquainted with Chicago. Took the city tour which ended at Hancock Tower. Leon, our driver and guide was excellent. He did his best to show us as much as possible while giving us tons of information on the way. Very friendly and funny. We were picked up at our downtown hotel and left... More

Our bus driver was funny and charming, and our tour guide knew so much about Chicago, and pointed out many things I'd never noticed before. Both of them really worked hard to make our tour special, and of course Chicago is well worth seeing and learning about.

My husband and I took the Grand Tour of Chicago and Paul was our tour guide. We learned the ends and outs of Chicago over four hours. We saw the highlights of what the city had to offer and were able to decide where we might like to visit again. Paul was very knowledgable about his subject matter and was... More

Was the tour a pleasant experience? Absolutely not. The tour guide Paul was one of the rudest people I have ever met. When I got on the bus, my son who is two and a half years old was sleeping. Paul told me the seat I was sitting in was broken and that I needed to move to the back... More

This firm popped up when looking for 'Things to do in Chicago'. I didn't read the reviews here and as it was a few minute walk from my hotel decided to wander over to the booking office to talk to them. Well, 20 mins later I still hadn't found the booking office, despite wandering around the building they were allegedly... More

Staying in Downtown / The Loop

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown / The Loop
Often visitors' first stop in Chicago, The Loop is a good starting point to sample the city's energy and flavor. This central business district boasts Michelin-rated restaurants, upscale hotels, premier shopping, and enough arresting architecture to keep your camera busy for hours. You won’t find too many photo galleries of downtown Chicago without a shot of Millennium Park and Cloud Gate (“The Bean”), one of the most iconic landmarks in the city. A stunning skyline coupled with cultural attractions like the Art Institute of Chicago present a Downtown where work and play peacefully coexist.
