My daughter and I on a visit to Chicago took a taxi from our hotel to the Gray Line office to purchase tickets for their Hop On Hop Off tour in December, only to be told that they didn't do them after a certain date in October. It would have been nice if their brochure had stated that. Ended up... More

We have taken Gray Line tours all over the world and have always had a great experience. I was a little concerned about all the negative reviews on Trip Advisor for this particular tour, but I couldn't imagine it being that bad. We were a group of three, staying at the Courtyard Marriott downtown. Our friends from Wisconsin drove in... More

This past summer I traveled around the United States and visited every major city. I took the hop-on, hop-off bus tours in every major City, and this was by far the best. The young Irish gentlemen, Sean (who's name I made sure to take note of) in the ticket office at the Palmer House made my experience so delightful. He... More

As a Chicago native I was shocked this tour showed me things I had no idea of! Loved the upper deck and the guide was a genius! A great weekend thing to do if you live here and if you don't!

Cold day in Chicago. We took the 4 hour tour. Pat was an awesome driver. It was a very interesting tour lest you see a lot of the real Chicago.

OMG - where do I start... I) 9.30am pick up for a 10am tour was a 10am pick up for a 10.15am tour 2) The 2pm finish, with a hotel drop off was actually a 1.55pm finish at some place where their changeover occurs, then swap buses to the hotel drop off bus. But the hotel drop off bus wasn't... More

We purchased a go chicago pass and this was included. We figured we would use it instead of cabbing everywhere, since most of the stops where near where we were going. The woman who gave us our passes was rude and disinterested in answering any questions. The hours on our passes, the maps, and the print out from the go... More

I purchased tickets for this tour, which include a "hop on/hop off" function. The vehicles consist of single deck trolley (busses) and double deck busses with an open top. My biggest and most important issue concerns the vehicles themselves. The double deck busses are wrapped with advertising, making all four sides of the bus a rolling advertisement/billboard for other corporations.... More

We used Gray Line Tours for a two-day Hop On Hop Off service, as well as a Chicago North Side tour. The North Side tour was good. The Tour guide was very informative. The bus was large, comfortable and clean. However, they were very disorganized on the morning we wanted to take this tour. The woman at the Palmer House... More

On 10-13-2014,we paid for a closed trolley tour and went to the designated central pickup area. After waiting over 1/2 hour we saw another Gray Line bus and asked the driver if she knew when the next trolley would be by. Her answer was none at that location due to a parade. So we called a number on the ticket,... More
