Ryan, our guide, was excellent. Riders may get off and on through the day at any of the attractions. This is the best way to see the city without catching cabs.

I will start with the positives. 1. It was included with my "Go Chicago" card. 2. The woman who validated our "Go Chicago" card at the Palmer House gift shop was very nice and informative. Unfortunately the positives end there. As I stated in the title - this review is specific to the hop on/hop off tour. They use the... More

I have taken family on hop on hop off tours of Chicago before, but not on the "Gray Line". This company did not leave a good impression. The first double decker bus we rode had no microphone. The guide did her best to make herself heard and kept a positive attitude. Then we got off at a stop to see... More

Tip - go to the tourist info at the water tower, and get them to buy your voucher on line to save 30%. The 3 day go Chicago pass was great as it allowed you to jump the que. Staff were great and helpful

We had a great time on the open top bus tour. It takes around two hours to do the full loop and there are chances to hop on & off. WARNING : How many get on depends on how many get off. We couldn't board new people at 3 or 4 stops because the bus was full. This meant that... More

I took the hop on and off trolley tour. I think it's a great value for your buck. Our tour guide Yvonne Burton was, energetic, funny, and informative. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Joshua did a great job providing insightful information about Chicago with lots of fun personality. It was great to hear true tips from a native Chicagoan and not the canned tour guide info. Thanks!

We purchased the "Grand Tour"- a tour of both the North and South loops of Chicago. Our pickup at our hotel was exactly on time and we were taken to the starting point of the tour. The bus used is a standard interstate coach, and that limits what you can see. Since much of the tour is of buildings in... More

We had just arrived in Chicago, not really sure about where all the attractions were, despite the map - the Grey Line tour was a great way to see what was where and how far it was ... because it was midweek, it was reasonably quiet and we never had any trouble getting seats - we didn't bother with waiting... The info on the tour was good...if you could hear it. The bus equipement is old. TIP when on the upper deck of the bus, sit near the stairs as that is where the spearker(s) is. We took two trips. On the first, the sound system was terrible to begin with. It kept cutting out and was muffled. We sat... More
