Went on this tour Thanksgiving weekend...easy call ahead reservations. They meet by the Rock and Roll McDonalds, so easy place to sit if you get there early. My parents (in their 70s) really loved it, and it was a great event for our family! (We don't have kids...it might have been a long ride for really little ones). A big... more

I read some of the reviews and at first I was reluctant to book my tour. After going on the tour, I feel that some misunderstandings need to be cleared up. First of all, Elliot Ness WAS mentioned by OUR tour guide (people do make mistakes). Second, keep in mind these people are ACTORS and part of their job is... more

We had a fun time on this tour. At first I was not sure how it was going to be, but once we got into it we had some laughs. The guides Southside and Matches did a good job of entertaining us and teaching us some “Gangster” history. Ok it may be a little corny but we enjoyed it. Recommendation... more

As others have mentioned, this tour deals with a lot of places that are no longer there. The late mayor (Daley the Elder) was so concerned about the image of Chicago that he did everything he could do to tear down structures that related to the age of the gangsters. He did nothing to change the history of the town,... more

It was a fun tour and I got some background on the history of Chicago in the 1930's. Of course, many of the buildings are gone-but I expected that. Chicago is not going to put up a sign honoring the Big St. Valentine's Day Massacre. Instead what you see is a grassy knoll near a parking garage. But across the... more

When a friend of mine came into town to visit, his three requests were pizza, soul food and a gangster tour. Pizza and soul food? No problem. A gangster tour? Really? I tried to get us on a Weird Chicago tour but they were sold out so I was left with the Untouchables Tour. I knew from the outset that... more

My family is easy to please, and enjoy all kinds of adventures. I rarely write negative reviews as I know personal taste dictates quite a bit. However, this was such a disappointment, I felt like a fool for giving them my money. First, the 'Untouchables' tour has NOTHING to do with the Untouchables (Elliott Ness, etc) themselves - they aren't... more

My wife and I were in Chicago in October 2008 and while there heard about this tour and decided to give it a try. We booked over the phone as we walked down to the pick up point. Right from the start of the tour the guides made us feel welcome and their high energy level turned around even the... more

This tour was exactly what I thought it would be. 27 dollars for a good driving tour was a steal. Our driver, "Shakespeare" (he read book once), and our guide "Al Dente" were both very informative about Chicago in the 1920s and 1930s. The shtick was great, and never got boring. If you have never been to Chicago, take this... more

My husband and I went on the Untouchables Tour October 2007, and we had a blast driving by sites from old Chicago gangster history. Although I'd been to Chicago several times before, it was the first time I'd visited China Town and Little Italy. It's a fun and informative tour, and we had a great time with our driver and... more
