I did all three 5k running tours while my husband was in town for a conference. All three were professionally run, highly educational (but in a fun way!) and not too difficult at all. Marlin has a terrific positive attitude that made the cold wet weather seem like a minor inconvenience. You can really tell how passionate he is about... More

Although I live in Chicago, I learned a lot of new information by participating in the Chicago Tragic Events tour. Marlin was a great guide, navigating downtown in an efficient and fun way. All running levels can participate. The free photos provided after the tour are an added bonus. I definitely recommend this tour company.

My husband and I went on the Tragic Events running tour while in town for a few days. We enjoyed the combination of a little bit of exercise with historical tales. Marlin was an excellent guide, and he included some nice touches like taking really excellent photos of the group during the run and even giving out a goody bag... More

Marlin is a great tour guide - very knowledgeable and takes great care of his customers! No need to be a runner to participate - running stints were short and at an easy pace.

Marlin is one of the best tour guides that I’ve ever had. He knows Chicago and he knows it well. We were on a tour with our students from Snowden School from Memphis and the kids really enjoyed him. He shared some interesting facts and some history about Chicago as we rode from one location to another. He has a... More

Thanks so much for your kind words on tripadvisor Robiroe. I especially enjoy delivering student tours. These tours provide the perfect opportunity to plant seeds of positive growth in the minds of our youth. It is a bit of a sneaky way to educate the kids outside of the classroom. The goal is to make the experience "meaningful and memorable".... More

The running tour is a fun way to see downtown, get some exercise, and hear about the city's history. Even as a local -- a resident for over 10 years -- I learned new things about the city's tragic events and related downtown locations. It seems they cater the tours to the physical ability of the participants. I would have... More

I did all three of the 5K tours (Grant Park, Chicago River and Navy Pier and Chicago Tragic Events) during a spring break staycation and had a fabulous time on all three. They each went to a different part of the city and I learned trivia and history about the city. Marlin (I think only one of two running tour... More
