Not exactly what we were expecting as the man at the door told me to get "loner shoes" at the coat check before entering. Apparently, my new Nikes were not good enough for this generally over 50 crowd listening to a mid-grade performer ruin 80's tunes by Billy Joel and Journey. There is good reason for not having a cover;... More

This is a classic piano bar, even a bit large as you go to the back of the bar. The owner is on site and he clearly wants people to enjoy. The piano player was quite good, expansive repertoire, and loud. Don't go for conversation, go for the sing along and music. No cover charge makes it quite popular and... More

I have red hair....and I play piano/love music. I had to give it a shot! It was ok. The guy that was performing when I was there was ok...not a great singer, but entertaining nonetheless. The oreo cookie martini was delicious. If you do go - definitely get there early (before the music starts) because it gets jammed. Don't go... More

My male colleagues seem to love it but I can't see the attraction. On the night we visited it smelled of fart throughout and the place generally seems in need of a refresh. The only good thing was the piano player who seemed to know his stuff. I won't be back.

I took a friend to the Redhead piano bar and we had a great time. There is a minimal casual dress code, and there can be a bit of a wait on weekends , but it is WELL worth it. It is a smaller bar, and it gets crowded, but in my opinion, that just adds to the fun. The... More

we were in Chicago for 5 days recently and we're looking for a piano bar that encourages audience sing along. The Redhead was chosen and found the last 2 seats in the room and this was at 8:15 on a Saturday night so it is popular. I just wanted to comment on the pianist because it was so odd just... More

Just a fun night to throwback piano bars. The atmoshphere is casual, they do have a dress code but jeans are fine just have on a button down shirt or sweater. The bartender we had was great make sure you ask if Rich is working he serves a great drink. The piano players we saw were great, played all the... More

My review is going to be a bit bias because a business colleague completely hooked my friend and me up by reserving us the VIP table! It was incredible!!! We had a little high top table complete with a velvet rope that roped us off from the crowd and our own bodyguard. Didn't eat anything but the drinks were good... More

We went here because it was only a short walk from our hotel and I'm glad that we did. When you first walk in it doesn't look like much but it is a great place to listen to music. Also, there is no cover charge. It was very crowded but we were able to get a seat at the bar... More
