As Wayne & Barbara Albin (former residents of the Greater Chicago Area) recalled on July 19, 2009 -- their 41st wedding anniversary, "We were the first couple married under the Picasso Statue in Chicago because Art is what brought us together." We came across this statue while walking in the Loop. As with most Picasso's, you can see pretty much what you want to see. My wife saw a wolf. I saw a woman's profile. Well worth seeking out. Some think it's a horse and some a woman. It is one of Picasso's better late works and it has become a Chicago icon like Marina City or the Sears Tower. Children like to slide on it when it gets covered with snow! more
