In a great waking neighbourhood and next to the mile shopping. Amazing handiwork. Attended mass. Try it.

My family and I took in a Sunday morning service while on a recent weekend trip to Chicago. The church is beautiful and the sermon was quite good and well-delivered.

This is a lovely not really overstated for a Cathedral, the ceiling is beautiful. It is different from so many other Cathedrals, If you have the time it is very pleasant quiet respite.

Convenient to most downtown hotels the Cathedral is worth a visit to worship or to view the classic Gothic architecture. Constructed after the great Chicago fire in 1975, the church has suffered fires and has been rebuilt several times. I stumbled upon this church while shopping. I peaked inside and had to enter. It reminded me of some of the cathedrals and churches I've visited in Europe. Amazing detail in wood carvings and stonework. Enter with reverent silence, as this is a church.

Love the architect of the old cathedrals. Our family enjoys visiting cathedrals when in the city. Chicago has several to enjoy in downtown area. Beautiful details.

Absolutely beautiful. The woodwork and stone work is simply beautiful. The stained glass is lovely. We heard someone practicing on the main organ - lush and rich. On a really hot day, the air conditioning was a blessing unto itself.

My wife and I enjoy attending Mass at Holy Name whenever we are in Chicago. The architecture of the Church is very interesting. We love listening to the choir and the organ.

I was amazed by this church. We went on a Sat evening so there weren't many people there because it was snowing. Can't wait to return.

It is a gorgeous building with all of the old church ambience. If you attend mass on Saturday you are almost always assured of catching the end of a fabulous Chicago wedding....
