Neil Tobin is a master storyteller, illusionist and lends the apprpriate spookiness to an already spooky environment. I very much enjoyed the show and was drawn in by the atmosphere created by Neil and The Castle. The intimate setting was perfect. I would highly recommend this performance for the great storytelling and illusions. A really fun time.

Interactive theatre is only as good as the quality of the audience. So thank you for coming to the show with a mind that was open to everything—the stories, the interaction, the psychic and the magical, the seriousness and the comedy. You were a wonderful guest! More

Let me put a disclaimer at the start itself - this is a review for my entire experience here i.e. Supernatural Chicago + Castle Nightclub. Regarding the show - The show is a combination of spooky stories, a few magic tricks and a supernatural atmosphere. The magic tricks (or should I say supernatural intervention) are nicely woven in the narrative... More

Thanks so much for your kind words about Supernatural Chicago. While the environment presented some unique challenges for the once-a-year Halloween the Houdini Seance, I'm so glad to hear how much you enjoyed it overall. Thanks again! More

It was a fun night with nothing too scary. Just the right mix of supernatural and fun. The show held my attention the whole time!! Had a great time.

Neil Tobin puts on a fantastic show! Without giving away too much (because that would spoil the surprise), Neil weaves an entertaining mixture of stage magic, humor, and stories about Chicago's paranormal history. There's a lot of audience participation, and the lower level of The Castle (formerly Excalibur, and the Chicago Historical Society long before that) adds to the spooky... More

Whether you believe or not, you'll have a very hard time explaining most of the show. Neil takes his craft very seriously which really lends a realism to the show and makes it that much more enjoyable. You'll have a lot of fun just with the tricks themselves and audience interaction, so even if you don't care much about the... More

One if my favorite parts of my trip. If I knew how amazing this would be I would have gone for this show alone.

If you are looking for something fun and out of the ordinary, go see Supernatural Chicago! Fun, funny, and you'll leave trying to figure out a few things. For $25 (or 16.50 on Goldstar), you get 2 drinks..it's darn near free. An excellent value...and you can stay and dance w/your friends afterward. Cozy intimate setting sets the right mood for... Form a mental picture of a highly atmospheric theatre in the dungeon of a gorgeous building, a nightclub, that is very convincingly built to resemble a Victorian vision of a Medieval castle: Thick stone walls, heavy wooden beams, stained glass . . . go ahead and romanticize your imagination here--that will just about get it. The atmosphere is subdued, lit... More

If you appreciate skillful mentalism, psychic work, and storytelling, go to Supernatural Chicago My partner and I went to Supernatural Chicago thinking the show would be "OK" for the $25 ticket price. We left feeling the show was worth much more than the price of admission. The show was fun, entertaining, and intriguing. Neil Tobin is a polished and engaging... More

It was entertaining. Audience involvement was really good. Neil does a great job keeping the attention. I was hoping there were more haunting stories
