I live and work near the lake and it is always a sight to see. Not to be taken for granted are the clean beaches and parks that are numerous.

Beautiful, windy and filled with gorgeous parks and free. You can walk for miles through magnificent parks with amazing sculptures, art, and fountains. Breath taking views. No wonder Opra's apartment overlooks this feast for the eyes. If you love to walk, run or quietly stroll with beautiful views, you'll love it.

When you take a drive along Lakeshore Dr. you can truly get a terrific view of Lake Michigan and all the activities that result from it. A leisurely walk along the lake-front park, while looking at the calm waters, with the Chicago skyline behind you ... there are worse ways to be spending days.

This is the mid-west ocean! The lake provides a great beach atmosphere for mid-America. They have a Navy Pier and great skyline view!

A great place to waterski, jetski, swim or relax by the lake. Looks like an ocean but without the salt water. Montrose Beach is the best beach along lake michigan and only 30 minutes away driving from downtown Chicago

Enjoyed an early-morning run here and I was accompanied by many others as ambitious as me. Gorgeous lake on one side, skyscrapers and parks on the other. Great!!

Oak Street Beach or a walk along the lake is something you should take time to do when visiting Chicago.
