I've done the river architecture cruises before, which are also great, but this time did the sunset cruise which goes on the lake. It was a great value, 2 hours for about $30, and the bar was reasonably priced. Had interesting history, beautiful views, and an awesome view of the skyline at night. The sunset itself wasn't very good, but... More

We took this tour in May. The weather was excellent and so was the guide. Our hotel was a short walk from the place where the boat tour starts. You can get on the tour by just walking in - the tickets are generally available. The tour takes you around and you really get to see a lot of sights... More

I was quite excited to see fireworks over Chicago skies to end our trip in a bang but when we rushed our most spectacular dinner to arrive at 7:55pm for our 8:30 cruise, there were about 200 people already in line! We inquired why so many people were there and said that the 7:45 pm boat was running late. So... More

When in Chicago I highly recommend the architecture tour. You will learn about the architects that designed the Chicago skyline and see the structures. A very relaxing way to spend a couple of hours on a nice summer day

Did the night architecture river tour ands it was great seeing all the building lid up at night. A little windy when the boat heads out into the lake and you will need a jacket. Highly recommend this tour to anyone going to Chicago.

$30 dollars for a 90 minute trip down the river, through the lock and out on to Lake Michigan. The guide was very informative on the river part talking about all the buildings and their history. It was a lovely day and a nice trip

Perfect experience all the way around. The boat was not crowded, Scott the tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, and photo ops galore.

We had a great time! We found a seat up to and right by the tour guide. He was very engaging. He gave a great mix of factual information along with stories about the buildings and the city's history. The 75 minute tour was just right for our family ranging from 8 years old - adults. Great chance to take... More

If you are in Chicago to see skyscrapers and the lake then this is a wise use of 90 minutes. On the combined River and Lake Cruise you’ll get a great view of the Loop and Magnificent Mile towers followed by a relaxing float on lovely Lake Michigan. Skip this if the weather is bad; the lake gets choppy and... More

We did the combined lake and river tour on a local friends recommendation and it was well worth it. Scenic, interesting and relaxing, we learned a lot and got some awesome pics. A must do!
