Be sure to bring a jacket and be prepared to put it on, take it off, put it on, take it off, put it on...the weather changes as the tour boat changes directions! Tour guide for the day was very entertaining. He should let people ask questions during the tour. No one remembers their questions by the time the tour... More

It took a while to get underway - started late. Ended up a little cool when we got further out on the water. Can't complain though since it was late March. Didn't expect it to be available at all. The little ride from the Field Museum out to the end of Navy Pier and back provides a unique view of... More

The architecture tour was fantastic. The guide extremely nice and informed. The bartender served chocolate downstairs. The captain was nice. And the skyscrapers fantastic. When asked by my friends to sum up my stay in Chicago (2 days), I told them the architecture boat trip was the highlight. More

Not knowing much about Chicago and even less about architecture, I didn't know what to expect but I had a couple of hours to fill, so decided to take the Architecture cruise and relax. What followed was a very enjoyable cruise with a knowledgeable tour guide who was both entertaining and informative. I feel like this cruise was the most... More

Seriously, even in the winter the shores of Chicago are beautiful. This city offers so much with the museums, spas and sights. You cannot go wrong visiting here at any time of the year! More

I did this cruise twice this trip (and at least once every other time I have visited!) - once during the day and once at night. Departing from near Navy Pier, it's about an hour long and a really lovely way to see the city and to get your bearings if you are a first time visitor or just to... More

We took the Sightseeing tour of the Skyline. The tour was OK. I wish there was a live person giving the details about the city instead of a recording because I would have liked to ask some questions. The tour should have been longer for what we paid. More

Takes about an hour & boarding is ~15 min before. Good commentary. Have nothing new to add except that you may want to take the tour just around sunset - you get to see the city under daylight & when most of the buildings are lit. They backtrack part of the route. Beautiful! Cheaper than Architectural foundation tour and child... More
