My awesome greeter, Richard, came to meet me at my hotel and after a brief talk to find out my interests and what I had already visited, planned out a great tour based on my love for architecture. It was a freezing day, yet he came out and showed me a lot of great buildings and told me about Chicago... More

We spent four hours on a very cold and rainy winter morning trekking around the city with our guide Randy. It may not sound it, but it was the highlight of our holiday in many ways. Randy's knowledge love and enthusiasm for the city made it an absolute pleasure to spend our morning with him. The fact this walking tour... More

We were worried that being Chicago as it is during winter the weather was going to be terrible and it was! However, Peter was a real trooper and took us on a great tour of the Loop. Clearly, he knew a lot about Chicago and the architecture downtown. Even with the horrible weather, we got a chance to use the... More

I was in Chicago for the weekend hoping to explore a few neighborhoods I may be interested in moving too. Lauren B was my greeter and she was awesome. We went to Old Town and Lakeview up to Wrigley Field. She was very knowledgeable about Chicago and definitely passionate about the city. Would definitely use the greeter service again!

We booked this because of the good review and was not disappointed. We where greeted by Sherry, at the allotted place and time. She gave us a talk on the history of Chicago firstly then asked the type of places we would like to visit. We walked around a number of places/buildings of interest with lots of facts and figures.... I took this tour with Elaine Pochiro...was really good. She took us for an hour giving us information, without the attitude of "professional tour guide". it was like walking with a friend that is showing you the city....very relax and a good pace.

We booked a Chicago Greeter tour to make the most of our weekend trip to Chicago and Tom did not disappoint! Tom, our Greeter, was very knowledgeable and extremely passionate about his city. We had a wonderful greeter named Marietta. She was knowledgable about Chicago. Just give your guide some idea of the area you'd like to explore, or your interests, and they introduce you to some of the best parts of Chicago. The guide was very generous with her time and extremely pleasant! What a terrific experience!

Just finished a great tour of the city! Highly recommend, and Tom was great! He started downtown explaining the history of the city and focused on its architecture. He then brought us through 3 sections of the city highlighting the differences. Tom was very friendly and knowledgeable! Spend the afternoon doing this!

This central business district boasts Michelin-rated restaurants, upscale hotels, premier shopping, and enough arresting architecture to keep your camera busy for hours. You won’t find too many photo galleries of downtown Chicago without a shot of Millennium Park and Cloud Gate (“The Bean”), one of the most iconic landmarks in the city.
