My favorite spot in Chicago. Beach/lake views along with the skyline. There is a restaurant on site as well as fast food. Chairs/umbrellas available for rent. Parking is limited to small lot and the Lincoln Park Zoo (pretty hefty). Free Wi-Fi on the beach. Have always found it to be clean & safe.

Great place to sp me the evening during summer. They also have a bike track along the beach. We can also see a great view of the Chicago skyline.

This beach is the main venue for the Chicago Air and Water Show. It is a beautiful clean beach with a great view of Chicago. It can get pretty crowded in the summer. Best thing about the beaches in Chicago - is that they are all free.

This is not my fav beach in the CHI but the VIEW is great. Quite a diverse crowed can be found here and towards the end of the day the amount of trash deserves a thumbs down but after a cool walk on Magnificent Mile it is a cool spot in the city.

Very cool place to just hang out. If you're into volley ball there's a vast number of nets to join in on the fun. There's a restaurant with terraced views.

First off, a beach in the city! That alone deserves a visit. The beach has amazing views of the Chicago skyline and and in general is really nice. We found it to be pretty clean with soft sand which was easy to walk on and even though it was one of the hottest days of the week on our visit... More

Who wouldn’t love a beach in the middle of a city! The sand is nice and soft, the water relaxing and soothing and the scenery is gorgeous. Great way to spend a relaxing day in Chi-Town!
