Our family had an amazing tour with Dan, he was truly phenomenal. Everyone in our group loved his energy and the interactive games. Dan's storytelling and idioms kept us intrigued and thirsty to hear more. We will definitely be back for future tours with Dan. Thanks for your passion

My daughter and I did a private tour with Dan from Chicago's Finest Tours. Everything about the tour was amazing. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable with lots of great stories, he had an excellent book filled with images, charts, and maps to augment what he was telling us that we got to keep as a memento. He is incredibly... More

I bought a couple tickets for this tour on Amazon Local and wasn't sure what to expect. I've been on Chicago Architecture Foundation tours before, and thought this would be a knock-off, but it turned out to exceed my expectations! The tour guide (Richard) was very knowledgeable, patient, and entertaining. I learned a lot about the history of Chicago, and... More

Our Walking Club took the Riverwalk Tour with Chicago's Finest Tours on a sunny day in October. Dan was a very knowledgeable and entertaining tour guide. His love of Chicago was apparent in his narration. Headphones made it easy to hear and understand, even over Chicago traffic noise and it was easy to book the tour as a group. This... More

A great time. Very interesting, fun, and informative. It was a great way to spend a couple of hours exploring Chicago's past.

Wife and I took the River Walk Sightseeing Tour yesterday. It was great and we highly recommend it. We found out about it on Tripadvisor and with the great reviews decided to try it. Rick Zieman was our tour guide and was very knowledgeable and was very entertaining. It took about 3 hours to do it but it sure went... More

My friend and I took the the Riverwalk Brunch tour on Sunday October 5. Having travelled from balmy Toronto, we were ill-prepared for the cold temperature in Chicago that morning. Our guide, Dan, was not only a well-informed and charismatic story-teller, he was also a kind soul who produced a spare jacket from his bag, and a second jacket he... More

Loved this tour, due to the knowledge, wit, and enthusiasm of Rick, our guide. He provided us with photographs of what Chicago looked like, from the birth of this great city, to supplement his tales of six man-caused tragedies. The two hours fly by. A great tour for not a lot of money. I highly recommend.

My husband and I had the pleasure of doing the Riverwalk Brunch Tour on a cool, but sunny, day in Chicago. Dan O'Connell was our friendly, knowledgeable tour guide who made this 3 hour tour fly by!! This is an easy going tour that is great for everyone, with a stop for a nice brunch at Houlihan's that gives you... More

Our tour took place on a cold and rainy day, but the tour guide was undaunted. He gave us the real story and many little-known facts about how Chicago became the cultural and economic center that it is today. He made the tour extremely interesting with facts and fun. The group had a great time. (Wear comfortable shoes.)
