The tour was a delightful way to spend a sister's day out. As a Chicagoan, it's always fun to spend a day as a "tourist" and learn new fascinating, fun facts about our great city! The breakfast buffet was very good, with our own private seating area waiting for us. Our guide, Dan was enthusiastic and a wealth of information.... More

Once again going on a tour with Dan through Chicago's Finest Tours is a great way to spend an afternoon and learn about another fascinating part of the city of Chicago. Dan is an extremely knowledgeable and entertaining tour guide. The subject of both Chicago Worlds Fairs (1893 & 1933) would be interesting enough but the way that Dan can... More

My brother and I took the city sightseeing tour on Friday with a Groupon. It was great! Dan was entertaining, knowledgeable and engaging. He treated us like his guests and made sure everyone was safe crossing the streets. Appeals to all types of history nerds. We both loved it!

We took the River Walk & Loop Tour. I live here, but had family in from out of town. The tour was great, with lots of interesting facts about Chicago's history. Sharon was a very knowledgeable guide, pleasant and attentive. Each person receives a good quality headset so that you can hear the guide over the "city sounds". This tour... More

You can relive the sheer amazement of Chicago's Columbian Exhibition (1893) and Century of Progress (1933) in one delightful, classy three hour bus and (not difficult mile) Sunday afternoon walking tour. Now booking once a month through October. The culinary surprises, terrific guide books to take home, comfy ride to the site of the 1893 fair and around the lakefront... More

Dan O'Connell did a wonderful job touring us along the Chicago River Walk last Saturday - would recommend the experience to anyone visiting Chicago for the first time or long-time residents of the city!! Not only did we see Chicago from a different perspective but also were entertained with amusing antidotes all along the way!

After reading all the great reviews, my group of four decided on this tour over an architectural foundation one. Wrong choice! The tour was so disappointing! The tour leader (obviously not Dan) was hard to hear over the traffic noise and not that inspiring or interesting. She kept saying "I meant to tell you this" or " I should have... More

Had a great time on the Riverwalk Brunch Tour with our tour host Rick. He was very knowledgeable and was very good at telling the inside stories and unknown tidbits of information about Chicago's rich history. Even though the tour was three hours (1 hour tour, brunch, 1 more hour) it went by like a flash. Rick was entertaining and... More

Went on the Riverwalk/Brunch Tour with 5 friends. We all loved it. From beginning to end Dan kept us informed and entertained with great stories of Chicago's present and past. We've lived in Chicago for over 60 years but Dan taught us things we never knew. The food was excellent and we were given plenty of time for a nice... More
