What a fun night out. There is an outstanding piano player and yes you will be singing every word to the songs. Such a cool atmosphere for a fun night out.

When we went here, we knew it was not going to be like that tourist trap on Hubbard. This was something neat with a lot of history. Yes...the place is somewhat difficult to find because it is nestled inside of an apartment building. But it's entrance is right on State Parkway. Yes....the place is small....but that is exactly what makes... More

It is rumored that the Zebra Bar was issued Chicago's second Liquor license the day prohibition was repealed - Liquor License number 1 having gone to the Drake Hotel. Yes the place is tiny, dark and difficult to find, wedged into the ground floor of a residential building, but it is also a great spot to stop for a drink... More

Stopped by with a friend from Chicago who hadn't been there in 30 years. It was a speakeasy in the good ole days. Great piano bar with singer player who took requests and was really an excellent entertainer. There was even room to dance once you got into the mood. Bachelorette party stopped by as part of their night on... More

After seeing some reviews, I was more than a little worried but the lady friends and I were going to check it out. I didn't find it stinky or dated. It was fun! Robert was our pianist/singer and his ability to play 1950s to 2011 songs was envied. The crowd was interesting - young, old, different types of couples and... More

I was assaulted by a regular patron of this place and I went in the next day to ask the owner for his help and he said he wouldn't help and not to bother him with it. Not a good guy and would not suggest giving business to a person who is like this. I would give it Zero stars... More

My husband and I loved stopping here for a couple drinks on the two nights we were in Chicago. We liked that it is small and intimate and not many people seem to know about it. The live music was great on Friday night, loved the performer. Saturday's performer was not as good, but that is just my opinion. Zebra... More

If you havent been to the Zebra late night then you have not exerienced the full Chitown lifestyle. First off it is a mandate that you cannot step foot into the Zebra before 12:30 am and you must be toasted to gain the full 3d experience. The piano bar is the bomb,, the people are totally a mixed bag of... More
