Shaggy was awesome last night. Venue was not so great due to employees and the lack of concern for patrons. I live in FL the doors were suppose to open at 8:00PM. They did not let us in until 8:15 which would be fine in other states like FL. It was 18 degrees outside. Then after we got in I... More

Even though I am a SOX fan. Some buddies and myself after a cross town classic battle and sadly the cubbies beatings sox. We decided to go there to enjoy the spoils of war. Lol. They served great drinks and the atmosphere was nice, friendly service. Will try it out again sometime.

Admittedly my expectations weren't too high for the food here and I wasn't disappointed. The food is straight up nasty. Eat before you get there. Great place for a beer or two before the Cubs game but avoid the food!

great place to go before or after a cubs game or concert at Wrigley Field. On game days there is usually a dj and dancing and food on the next level. Its always packed. On non game days, there are tables to sit and watch other games (tons of tvs) and to eat. The food has always been really good... More

We went before a Cubs game..and this place was CROWDED! The waitstaff was very quick and attentive. We ordered wings, they came out cold--but our waitress got us hot fresh ones (what do you expect when it's crazy busy!) This bar is a must see, even if its just for one drink!

Walked in wide open area with no decor. Like it is a big dance floor. Then we found the stairs to the bathroom or restaurant area so we went up there. The rude bouncer said that you cant stand there and there were open tables so we looked for an open table so we went back and told him that... More

So I'm surprised there are so few review here at TA for this place. I'm guessing because the patrons are not the "upscale type" that visit this site. Anyway, it's not a bad place. The food is good and the service average. Great "pre game" atmosphere. The place is almost always packed before a game at wrigley which is right... More

Excellent hamburgers and killer garlic fries that mix up perfectly with a cold beer just before the ball game, it made the trip to wrigley field an awesome experience

No trip to Wrieyvillle should be without a stop at The Cubby Bear. The burgers were very good, but the service was average. I do need to cut them a break because it was Gameday and extremely busy. But, if this is what they do, then they should be prepared for the crowd

After a cubs game, we wanted to pub crawl through Wrigleyville, and we started at the Cubby Bear. There were no tables - just a giant dance floor, blaring music, and waitresses walking around with trays of Jello shots. We walked out almost immediately after walking in, not our type of crowd, and there are plenty of other sports bars... More
