great place to go before or after a cubs game or concert at Wrigley Field. On game days there is usually a dj and dancing and food on the next level. Its always packed. On non game days, there are tables to sit and watch other games (tons of tvs) and to eat. The food has always been really good... More

We went before a Cubs game..and this place was CROWDED! The waitstaff was very quick and attentive. We ordered wings, they came out cold--but our waitress got us hot fresh ones (what do you expect when it's crazy busy!) This bar is a must see, even if its just for one drink!

Walked in wide open area with no decor. Like it is a big dance floor. Then we found the stairs to the bathroom or restaurant area so we went up there. The rude bouncer said that you cant stand there and there were open tables so we looked for an open table so we went back and told him that... More

So I'm surprised there are so few review here at TA for this place. I'm guessing because the patrons are not the "upscale type" that visit this site. Anyway, it's not a bad place. The food is good and the service average. Great "pre game" atmosphere. The place is almost always packed before a game at wrigley which is right... More

Excellent hamburgers and killer garlic fries that mix up perfectly with a cold beer just before the ball game, it made the trip to wrigley field an awesome experience

No trip to Wrieyvillle should be without a stop at The Cubby Bear. The burgers were very good, but the service was average. I do need to cut them a break because it was Gameday and extremely busy. But, if this is what they do, then they should be prepared for the crowd

After a cubs game, we wanted to pub crawl through Wrigleyville, and we started at the Cubby Bear. There were no tables - just a giant dance floor, blaring music, and waitresses walking around with trays of Jello shots. We walked out almost immediately after walking in, not our type of crowd, and there are plenty of other sports bars... More

Stopped in for a drink and some lunch. My burger was pretty spot on, but my fiancé's nachos were average at best. No flavor, bland chicken, tasted like they poured lays canned melted cheese all over. Service was great and the projector ha the Blackhawks game playing so I was pretty happy. Guys, if your girl is the least picky... More

This is a great place right across from Wrigley Field. Plenty of drinks and giveaways before the game. I've only been there a few times but they've always been packed before a Cubs game.

Dropped in for a quick bite to eat on the way to iO Chicago. The menu looked terrible, so I declined. My brother went for the pulled pork burger with waffle fries. As he is lactose-intolerant, he was pretty annoyed when the fries arrived covered in unannounced parmesan. Saying that, if they'd been warm, I probably would have eaten them... More
