I love my job and my city and I'm all about showing it off to you. I'm an improviser and comedian, so expect some really hilarious (to me anyway?) impressions. We have a lot of fun on tours, you know, while we're learning stuff. During the winter months I run the Pedway Tour and in April 2013 I will add The Disaster! Tour and the Chicago Rules tour - learn how to use the city of Chicago. I am also available for private tours and group tours! Let's do this. « less

This was a fun way to learn more about Chicago. Margaret was our tour guide, and she was not only knowledgeable, but she was personable, kind, engaging, and hilarious! I would recommend this for first-time Chicago visitors and even the seasoned Chicagoan!

Took a pedwat tour with Margaret recently and loved it. She is entertaining and fun in addtion to being very knowledgeable. We learned agreat deal laughed alot and now know some of the "secret passages" under the city. Margaret has a passion for the city and it shines through on her tour which is very refreshing. Highly recommend Margaret's tours!

My teenage son reckoned this the best thing we did in Chicago. It's about 90 minutes long and was one of the cheapest things we did in the states. Bargain!! The tour itself is interesting and gives you a different view of the city with lots of interesting facts. But it is Margaret who turns it from a 3.5 star... More

My family and I did this tour on April 11, 2013 just hours after we landed from a 9 hour red-eye flight. It was our first time to Chicago. We were jet-lagged and sleep deprived, but Margaret was so nice, enthusiastic, and funny that we forgot ourselves. She was very personable and really tried to engage the kids in a... More

We took the Pedway Tour with Margaret and she KNOWS the city, inside and out (and underground!). I've lived in Chicago for over 25 years and I have never heard of the interesting facts and places that Margaret showed us. She's funny too! She really knows what she's talking about and some of the things she showed us were just... More

Seeing Chicago through the (who knew?!?) Pedway, was the highlight of our trip to Chicago. We loved Margaret's fascinating and funny stories about obscure moments in Chicago's history, which made us see the city in a whole new way. And Margaret is not only smart, but hysterical (ask her to do her "Father Daley" impression!). Well worth the time and... More

We took the Pedway tour with Margaret and had a wonderful time. We have lived in the Chicago area all our lives, knew the Pedway existed, but never took the time to see it. She made the tour fun with her animated stories, knowledge of Chicago history, and great sense of humor. We had out of town family with children... More

Margaret was simple fantastic. She was funny, informative and the tour was very interesting. Take this tour! She will take you to places that you may miss if you tour the city on your own. I will definitely be back to Chicago to take another tour with her!

We toured a bit of the Pedway with Margaret, and learned many interesting things about Chicago's history in the process. Our tour started with a quick intro across the streat from Daly Plaza (with the Picasso statue), then Margaret took us down below. We went up, we went down, we saw beautiful interiors and oddities. The funny thing about the... More
