I've been to Lincoln Hall twice in the last six months for very different events and the space worked remarkably well. In March, they hosted the Louder Than A Bomb (spoken word) semi-finals. The student participants presented from the stage and the floor in front of the stage was filled with chairs. There's an upper balcony that can also be... More

We we there for a concert.. opening act is 1.5 hours late (not LH's fault) but the fact that they played some hokey video TWICE if a 1970's Dance Party.. (music from the same era that didn't go with the video) was POOR.... it wasn't entertaining to watch in the least. The Wait Staff was fantastic... they made things tolerable!!... More

I've been to Lincoln Hall for two concerts and I've got to say the bar is great, the staff are helpful and the security keep things under control. The surrounding Lincoln Park area is full of nice places to eat and other bars, great for the concerts that leave you pumped and ready to stay out! I've never had a... More

Went with friends to a Bastille concert here. I was really surprised at how friendly the staff was, and how clean everything was... tickets were WAAAAY too cheap for such a great venue and great band! We had drinks and food before the show and it was also surprisingly good and nice big portions for the price. I'll definitely be... More

Recent evening here for a concert on Sept 10. Went right away at 5pm when the bar opened. Greeted by VERY friendly staff. As a frequent visitor of Chicago, this stood out more than anything, because I have had my fair share, unfortunately, of rude service in Chicago. The show didn't begin until 7:30pm so we made sure to get... More

We went to Lincoln Hall to see my nephew's band play and were very pleasantly surprised by this place. I made reservations for dinner here on the balcony overlooking the stage, it was the best experience I've ever had watching a concert. We had a great view of the stage where we were, they serve food until 10pm so we... More

My experiences at this venue have ranged from 5-star to 1-star and overall I'd rate the venue as average. The sound quality is not great. Security guards are ultra-picky about photography/video, even if the artist allows it. The menu was not great. There used to be an option to park in a nearby lot at a discounted rate with a... More

Saw Jamie Lidell this April and loved the venue! Small with a local touch up front and clubby, concerty in the hall area! Will definitely check out their events next time I am in the Chi.

Lincoln Hall is the best place in Chicago to see up and coming national acts in a small venue. Went on a chilly Sunday night but easily warmed up to the friendly, very helpful staff and pretty good comfort foods (try the mac & cheese, one of the best) to hold me off until after the concert. Saw three distinct... More

Lincoln Hall has only been around for a handful of years, but it is easily the best place to see a band. Small, but amazing sound. There is not a bad seat in the house. Very intimate space, but with out the compromise of sound or quality. Love love love this venue.
