This was a different but interesting way to spend the evening, getting to know the city and the pizza that it offers. Initially I thought just having a slice in the four different pizzerias wouldn't be enough but by the time we arrived at the 3rd restaurant I was well and truly stuffed. The pizza offered was of a great... More

We all enjoyed this pizza tour. Honestly, the guide made it fun and funny. Pizza was great and we got a history lesson along with it. No behind the scenes or visits to kitchens, however, so I'll have to agree with other reviewers that that should be eliminated from the description on the company website. However, we never would have... More

I wasn't expecting too much out of this, but I was surprised at how informative and fun the entire experience was. The guide is knowledgeable and snarky (which we love) and the pizza was *delicious* at every stop. Chicago does know how to do pizza!

Our tour guide was a true Chicagoan who went above and beyond to give us a great experience. So much pizza! So much history!

I took this pizza tour w/ my husband (self-described pizza-AHOLIC), who requested this ONE thing for our long-planned Chicago trip. We SO looked forward to it, and we DID enjoy the tour! Pizza was great, guide informative, fun, & entertaining. We went N, S, E, & W in the coach: a real overall tour. I would recommend to all who... More

The Chicago pizza tour is definitely worth the money. Dan takes you to four pizza spots that highlight different types of pizza. Along the way, he gives a little history of the city. He is funny and very informative. Dan makes you feel like a friend, and makes sure to learn everyone's name, which gives you a comfortable feeling. The... More

This was a really fun afternoon of stuffing your face. 4 pizzerias in about 3.5 hours. Thin crust, deep dish, stuffed, and coalfired. Pizano's was my personal favorite for both thin crust and deep dish but all the places we visited were good. If you've got the time and money, this is a great way to both see and taste... More

Last week, my group of 18 took a private tour with Chicago Pizza Tours. EXCELLENT. From booking the tour with special requests with owner Jonathan, to the arrangements, the the Tour itself with Jonathan (different from owner) and "Q" our driver, a home run! We had a wide range of ages in our group and the tour appealed to all... More

This tour was a big hit with our group of 15 (mostly men) while we were in Chicago for a business meeting. Our driver Danny was a local And offered just the right amount of explanation of the city and locations we visited. He did a great job recommending the type of pizza and beer to try at each place.... Last August we did this tour as part of a long weekend in Chicago. It became a high point that we've shared with friends and family. My daughter just did it and agrees. You will not find another opportunity like this one! Trying 4 pizza places ...arguably, some of the best in existence ...and learning about the nuances as you... More
