Went on the Taste Chicago food Tour walking tour on a brisk 12 degree Tuesday in Chicago. Our group was small and guide John was personable, honest, interesting and willing share about his personal experiences. We live within an hour of the tour path so we were "local" tourist and still found tid-bits of information and stories that we didn't... More

Had a great time on Saturday with Anna Lynn on the Flavors of Chicago tour with Tastebud Tours. This tour takes you to sample all of the landmark Chicago favorite foods with some witty tidbits and historical factoids peppered in along the way. Well-organized and very relaxed, the tour had just the right amount of food to leave you feeling... More

We signed up as first time food tour foodies looking for a good time. AnnaLynne did a great job, as she guided us around to several of Chicago's notable establishments. Started with Pizano's pizza (...awesome deep dish!), and kept going from there - brownies, Chicago dog, "cheezeborger" and finished at Fannie May candies. Lots of interesting information along the way.... More

We did this tour on a rather rainy, grey Saturday morning, but definitely had a great time nonetheless. Johnson took us around the Central Loop district, showing us restaurants and other places, combined with explanations and anecdotes about all kinds things about Chicago. We started off in a Pizzeria, trying deep dish pizza, then headed for some brownies, sandwiches, cupcakes,... More

Three of us went on a cold day in December. John was our tour guide and his knowledge and stories were excellent. The food was fantastic!! We had pizza, brownie, hot dog, cheeseburger and Fannie Mae candy. Lots of food and many stops in between to warm up and see unique sights. I highly recommend it to folks from Chicago/burbs... More

Just getting round to this review, wonder if I'm the first from Scotland to write one on this tastebud tour!. Great tour, great food, great guide, think his name was Johnson, super friendly, knew the area like the back of his hand and gave great advice on where to go in the city for a first time visitor. Coming back... More
