This was the best thing we did on our Chicago vacation! The food was excellent and the history informative. We will definitely do this again if we go back with different people. The guide (Anna Lynn?) was very helpful and friendly. We would suggest that you have your guides pass out business cards or wear name tags. We're not sure... More

Sounded like a fun tour, and it was. We really liked our guide, Victoria. She was very knowledgeable and answered all of out questions. The tour was interesting because we went to food places and non-food places that we wouldn't have done on our own. The food was great to experience and hear stories about, but the food itself was... Although I lived south of Chicago for 7 years, i never had the opportunity to do the TasteBud Tour until this month (June 2013). I was part of a group meeting that diverted to downtown Chicago one evening and did the tour led by Annalynn. It was a lot of fun, had a good variety of food including Chicago style... More

Do not eat before this tour and don't make dinner reservations because you will eat a lot of good food! Dave was our tour guide and he did an excellent job of pointing out great places to check out for shopping and dining during the tour. This is a must do in NOLA and a great bargain for the amount... Although we have been to Chicago many times before, we took the opportunity for a Tastebud Tour with a group of friends. The Taste Chicago tour had a good variety of foods. We also saw and learned alot about Chicago landmarks along the way. The tour was not tiring as we walked at an easy pace and in the restaurants... More

This was professional guides at its best. They were carrying & concerned for our large group. They picked great restaurants, we got to sit at each place, & the food was great. We got to tour the area, & the guides were able to tell us so much about the area. We took the "lunch tour", & highly recommend it.... More

My husband and I went to Chicago the second weekend of May. We took some friends that had never been to Chicago and knew we wanted to sign them up for Tastebud Tours. We had such a great experience 2 years ago and now go back to some of restaurants that we visited each year. John was our tour guide... More

Did the Flavours of Chicago tour with another couple. The tour was very informatiove and stopped at 6 establishments. We ate pizza, chocolate brownies, Chicago hot dog, chocolates, half a cheeseburger and jambalaya/gumbo. The tour lasts for 3 hours or so. The guide was very informative and helpful. Water was provided at every stop. There were always tables to sit... More

It was our first time in Chicago, and we weren't sure where to start. We love to try new restaurants, so this seemed like the perfect idea for our first day in town, and it definitely was! We love that it's a family-owned business, casual/relaxed feel to the tour but still informative and fun. My husband can eat like he... More

It's my first time to do a food tour and my first time in Chicago as well. The food tour was a nice way to explore the city without getting too tired or hungry. I liked our tour guide's, Mimi, disposition. Casual but not relaxed, professional but not stiff. She forgot to stop at one of the restos though so... More
