We toured with Annalynn.. She's very smart, educated and knows her stuff. She was very attentive and really talked to everyone on the tour. She made sure everyone was comfortable, and had enough to eat (which trust me we did !!). I've never learned so much about Chicago until our tour with her. I would definitely recommend this tour in... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our Tastebud Tour with Johnson. This was our first food tour, so I didn't really know what to expect. My husband and I along with our two teenage sons really enjoyed this three hour tour. Plenty of great food served along side interesting facts about our city. Just note this is not haute cuisine...pizza, hot dogs, and brat... More

Yes, Chicago is known for many of the foods that we sampled along the way, but I'm not sure that all of them represented the "best" of Chicago's food. We started at Pizano's where we sampled deep dish and regular crust pizza - good and yummy. Other stops along the way were to sample the Chicago invented brownie - eh,... More

Annalynne was a fantastic guide for the tour, she helped create a friendly atmosphere for all of us and provided us with some excellent trivia about Chicago. The food was top notch, my personal preference being the starting deep dish pizza. If it hadn't been for this tour I would have missed out on some good locations within the city,... More

Great way to sample some of the cities popular iconic establishments. Plenty of food & history to fill you up. We felt like we were touring the city with a family friend, Annalynn was extremely knowledgeable, encouraged questions, and sincerely pleasant throughout the tour. Our 12 year old son commented on how he enjoyed it & was sorry it was... More

My son's high school choir came to Chicago for their spring break trip and Tastebud Tours was our first activity in the city. We met our guides at Pisano's for a bit of history and pizza - both deep dish and flat. Our group was large so we were split into three groups to tour the smaller shops. Next up... More

This tour was my idea after searching for things to do in Chicago. My husband was VERY grateful that I insisted we took the tour! We had already wandered around Chicago downtown and the North (Magnificent Mile) but through our ignorance we didn't have a clue what we were seeing. Our tour guide AnnaLynne was brilliant. She was so welcoming... More

Our group of 8 loved this tour. Johnson was very personable and knew his stuff! Not only was this tour about the food in Chicago but also the history of the city! Loved the pizza at Pizano's and the delicious sweets we got!!
