TOUR GUIDE: Our guide, Johnson, was very good. Very knowledgeable, personable, engaging. Concerned and observant about everyone's safety and comfort. Walking pace was just right. TOUR: The tour was.....ok. It was as much a sightseeing tour as a food tour. We learned some interesting things and saw some things you would probably miss without a guide. However the food part... We enjoyed our tour with Anna Lynn. Scheduled so you won't need lunch, we had plenty of tastes mixed with a little history and culture. Our stops were Pizano's Pizza, Palmer Hotel, AmericasDog, Sugar Bliss, Fannie Mae's and the Berghoff. Enjoyed the stop at the Route 66 sign, Millenium Park, The Bean, Art Institute for the Tiffany ceiling. A great... More

Our tour guide was excellent. Tour group was just the right size. Definitely enough food for lunch, and then some! It was good to walk around in between stops. We took the tour on our first day in Chicago, and it was a great way to get our bearings around the city! Our guide took us to the Bean, the... More

What a great tour! A great 3 hours and you will not leave hungry. Lots of food and education/history of the places visited and of the historic parts of the city. Great variety of food and very relaxing atmosphere, never felt rushed the entire tour. Been on a handful of food tours, and this ranks up at the top. Excited... More

Went on this tour reluctantly, but I am so glad I went!! It's a relaxed tour, and every place we went the restaurants welcomed us with open arms. (not literally, but you know what I mean) If I hadn't done this tour, I would have NEVER gone to the places the tour took me on! Not only do you get... More

What a fun way to experience Chicago ~ a little noshing, a little walking, a little narrative history ... all gracefully coordinated by Annalynn of Tastebud Tours !! I did the "Taste Chicago" tour, which included Real Chicago Deep Dish Pizza, a Real Chicago Hot Dog, a baby brat, and several sweet items. I would highly recommend this tour to... More

Had a great experience. Our guide, Annalynn, was personable, and most important, knowledgeable about not only the foods and restaurants, but also the sights seen along the way. We picked the tour that included stops at Pizano's pizza, Fannie May's, and the Berghoff restaurant, as well as other eating spots and sights (like millennium park, the library to see the... More

My daughter is a Chicago resident and took me on this tour during my visit to the city. We would highly recommend this to everyone, including those who think they know the city. Our guide, John, shared many interesting facts about Chicago history on an easy and comfortable walk. The food was terrific, and knowing the history behind each of... More

I went on this tour this week and it was great. Our tour guide Johnson made it interesting and fun in spite of the looming rain. We learned a lot about Chicago, its history in addition to sampling some amazing (and incredibly filling) food. We ventured to places off the beaten path that I never would have found and would... I would highly recommend this tour to anyone in the Chicago area. Our tour guide Johnson was great. We had deep dish pizza, Chicago dogs, burgers at The Billy Goat Tavern, and sweets at Fannie May. Once you do this tour, you will learn a lot about Chicago and its food and be full for the rest of the day.
