I opted for the Flavors of Chicago tour. The day of my tour, the temperature was in the single digits with a wind chill of well below zero. Our guide, Anna Lynn, met us with a smile despite the weather and the fact that there were only two registered for the tour. We started at Pizano’s Pizza (delicious deep dish... More

Brrrrrr. Sounds like you were in Chicago at some of our coolest weather thus far! Having said that, we are pleased to hear that you had such a great time with Annalynn as your guide; we agree with you, her smiley personality is completely contagious and she knows a lot about her city. We will make sure that we let... More

Our tour guide was fantastic, she was very knowledgable and friendly. We had a small but fun group, it ended up being a cold rainy day but we brought an umbrella and made the best of it. It was a great way to experience and see parts of the city we wouldn't have known existed and also hear about some... More

This "food" tour is a must when you visit Chicago. The food on the tour was great but what we enjoyed more was Lynn our Food tour guide. Lynn was not only our guide he was the owner of Tastebud Tours. To say he was passionate about this tour and his city would be an understatement. While his knowledge of... More

Thank you so much for letting us know about your experience. Sounds like you had a special tour, indeed. On the select days in which Lynn gives the tour, he rarely sings so he must have really opened up for your group! It makes our heart happy to hear that you had such a remarkable experience on the tour with... More

The tour starts with delicious deep dish pizza, what could be better? Nicely paced at 3 hours, our tour guide John was well-versed in Chicago history and culture and is justifiably proud of his city. The food stops along the way were good, especially the chocolate :-) Our favorite stop was the Chicago Cultural Center, no food involved but the... More

My 17 year old son and I signed up for the Flavors of Chicago Tour. Both of us are foodies, but we had yet to do a food tour anywhere. We typically explore places on our own. This was a great way for us to try something new. We were a mixed group of 10. 2 from Australia, 2 from... More

Start to finish, I had so much fun!! Annalynn was our guide. She is knowledgeable and relaxed. The food was delicious. Show up hungry--you are going to eat lots of food. Annalynn makes it fun. I especially enjoyed the sights and insights along the way. I am still telling people about it a month later. Do it!!!

Today a friend and I (2 gals in our middle years) did the walking taste of Chicago tour. Annalynn was a great tour guide and knowledgable about the area. The food was good although nothing extra special but we would have never found some of the places we went to outside of this tour. There was so much food.... We... More

My husband and I recently visited Chicago and took the Flavours of Chicago tour. We weren't sure what to expect, but loved the idea of trying new foods and walking as well. Most of the foodie tours we have taken in other cities were on a small tour bus. This way, we saw the city, learned about the neighbourhoods, tried... More

We did this on a whim and we were so glad we did! Annalynn, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and showed us the city in a fun, new way. Not only was the tour amazing, but she provided us with recommendations for other things to try and all of her ideas were perfect for us! We had a blast. The... More
