What a great way to get around and see Chicago from a different perspective. It's not a tour, just a ride on the Chicago River. The workers were very helpful and let us know what stops were best for getting to certain attractions. It was very inexpensive and well worth the effort to walk down the stairs to catch a... More

We had walked all over downtown and decided to head from Willis tower to navy pier. The boat taxi was a great way to see chicago from the water. Different perspective being surrounded by the city on a boat. The fair was a bit steep at $8 one way but did it only once and enjoyed it.

If you don't have time or money to do an architectural boat tour, this is a cheap and easy way to get a nice ride on the Chicago River. You can take it down to Chinatown and have a fun place to eat lunch when you get off.

We hopped on the Chicago Water Taxi under the bridge by the Billy Goat Tavern and went all the way to Chinatown and back. It's easy to get off and explore the area and the park, and just wait for another water taxi to loop around an pick you back up! It was a beautiful, sunny day and my husband... More

If you want to see the beautiful architecture of Chicago on a budget, take the water taxi to China Town & Back for a typically crowd free boat ride.

This is the best way to see Chicago's remarkable architecture. The tour is not too long. But well worth the time and money.

You can get off the Metra train and get a cheap boat ride to Michigan Ave, Navy Pier, and on the weekends - China Town. It is a great way to see the city and costs about $3-$4. It is the best bargain going in the city. It doesn't matter if you live here or are a tourist, you will... More

Love the Water taxi. Fun for the kids. Every summer I the bring the grandkids down town on the train from the suburbs. We go to Navy Pier, 95th etc. Last year at Navy Pier we took a fun boat ride. Creating nice memories for the kids. I can't believe anyone would NOT enjoy this.
