We took this after the Willis Skydeck to get to the Navy Pier. This is way better than a normal taxi if you are looking to do touristy things. Beautiful view and cheaper than other boat tours.

Avoid all the mess of the city, we used it from the navy pier to the museum campus. It was relaxing and much better than going through the city.

It's a neat idea to have water taxi on the river! Kids absolutely loved it. We sailed it from place to place. It's not kind of transportation that you want to get to place quickly as it takes a while. But it has much fun!

We used the Chicago Water Taxi to take the kids from Union Station over to Michigan Avenue. Super convenient for suburban families trying to get across the Loop if you're not keen on buses/cabs for the kids (I'm not that fussy about the kids on the bus but I know others are). Tickets are easy to get (even online) and... More

We always take shoreline water taxi while downtown but wanted to go to Chinatown so took the Chicago Water Taxi. They clean and courteous and did the job we wanted. But I'd rather take shoreline when going anywhere else. On the way to Chinatown we took one that had the cabin space and it was too hot on a July... More

I stumbled into this deal, quite unexpectedly! Beside the grand view of Chicago from the water, this is an extremely reasonable and fast way to go from Willis Tower to Michigan Avenue. You can go from museums to the Navy Pier. Look for the $8 all-day pass!

We stumbled upon the water taxi after leaving the aquarium. We paid $8.00 a person to go from the aquarium to Navy Pier. It was a nice way to see the beautiful skyline and relax.

We took the taxi from Shedd Aquarium to Navy pier. Quick easy and not particularly expensive. Gave us great views but it is open so wear a hat and sun block.

We took this - a first for our family - at a location near the Willis Tower to Michigan Avenue. Great way to see more of the city! Lots of fun and a quick little trip!
