We planned a great day at Navy Pier. We payed full day price and parking. The only attraction open was the Ferris wheel. Everything else was either closed or an adittional fee. I would like to try this out again and hope to have a great time.

Was stoked to visit Navy Pier and ended up leaving very disappointed. There was little activity outside of a few places and the construction mess made it difficult to move around easily. I will try again next trip and hope the construction is finished.

If you're going to the Children's Museum or the Shakespeare Theater, or a couple of rides, you'll want to come here. If not, there are lots more places I'd have as a priority. It's not just about the construction. There re many excellent restaurants - none here. There are a number of shops where you can buy tourist stuff. But... More

..almost by accident i was involved in the navy Pier.. and it was a great surprise! Funny place where you can spend hours with your family or friends especially for free time in front of a great view of the lake.. For tourist it's advisable to book a trip on the boat, called architecture trip in down town chicago..

I had always hear of the Navy Pier and was excited to finally get to see it. Although I am sure that it is usually great....but because of all the construction...it kinda ruined it for us on this trip. We do look forward to seeing the completed project when we return and am sure it will be wonderful. The little... More

Heard a lot about this place and was disappointed. Construction going on so it was crowded on the walkways. Not much to do.

Nice place to walk and see the lake and ships. Right now there is a lot of construction going on so things are closed or roped off. Parking is very expensive for the time you will spend there.

We went to Navy Pier and found it a fun little place to go. There were bike rentals, a few rides, and food places inside and out to get a snack. We did take a Chicago River ride where we toured the city the river. It was cool to go through the engineer gates. They do offer occasional shows but... More
