Combines a tour of the waterways and an architectural guide with a speedboat ride on the lake. Really big boat, so speedboat rides isn't scary at all, just fun. In our view, miles better than the traditional river tours because the kids loved the speedboat ride.

My husband and I took our 18 and 13 year old on this amazing boat ride at 2 pm on August 27. We purposely sat in the back where they told us we would get really, really wet. They did not tell a lie. We were soaked from head to toe and enjoyed every minute of this "Rollercoaster on water".... More

Our tour guide was Sonny. I know he was trying to be funny, but the four of us didn't take the tour to learn about his old girlfriend or to hear him poke fun of the foreigners on board. There was no rhyme or reason for the buildings he pointed out and some of the time we couldn't even tell... More

So if you REALLY want an in-depth architecture tour of Chicago, this is not the one for you. Being a life-long Chicago resident, I'd never taken an architecture tour before, but was looking forward to learning a bit more about the buildings that I walk amongst almost daily. However, I think if all the infomation is equal between competitors, this... More

Excellent way to see Chicago. A quick joy ride around the lake before heading into the city for a more in depth tour. Our guide was very impormative and she engaged with everyone on the boat. Very enjoyable.

So of course the August day that we went on the SeaDog lake view ride, it was about 60 degrees and cloudy.. Which made it was a little chilly out on the water.. However, we had nearly the whole boat to ourselves and got front row seating (much to my 72 year old mothers dismay). Our tour guide, Charles/CJ, was... More

Me and my family had a great time! We had Dan for our guide. The 'seadog boot cruise' was one of our best choices on are trip to Chicago. It's well worth the money. :-)

If you are planning on staying dry for the rest of the day, this is not the ride for you. We were warned after picking a seat that people in the back get drenched more than the people in the front which led to some scrambling around. Wish they would give us this warning while purchasing the tickets. Its a... More

Did the 30 minute speedboat cruise and loved it. Everyone who goes to navy pier should try this. They dock right across from the ferris wheel

Excellent trip really worth doing, but perhaps with a different company. I will explain, the trip was fantastic up until we were in the lock just before the end waiting for it to fill, an English gentleman & his wife were feeding a family of ducks with a broken up bread roll, we were all watching as it was a...
