This was my second segway tour (the first one was in DC) -- and I am originally from Chicago. But seeing DC on segway was so fun (both in terms of how much ground you could cover in 2 1/2 hours and the group/guide), that my friend and I decided to make a weekend of it when we were both... More

Chris, our tour guide, was so helpful and full of information about Chicago. Chris dealt with our group limitations and helped when needed. I love segways and find no better way to show someone Chicago, you cover more ground than you would ever have energy for on foot. I've been on another company's segway tour and trust me this one... I was nervous that I would fall. I'm not skinny and not in the best shape. It was so easy and fun and took 5 minutes to figure out. Jake our guide was informative and gave us good restaurants and bar ideas.

Do it! Fun! Exciting! Educational! Easy! Having taken several tours in several cities, I recommend a 3 hour tour for any one you take for several reasons: 1) more fun time 2) more learning time to get comfortable for 1st timers, 3) more stop-time for stretching and talks. This last point makes the 3 hour tour actually easier on your... More

City Tours was a very memorable experience for our family. The teens had a blast and Brennan our guide helped the nervous rider (me) overcome a bit of unwarranted fear. It was chilly but we bundled up and enjoyed the 3 hour ride through the parks and around the museums. Interesting facts and plenty of photo opportunities. It was well... More

I went in May with girlfriends. I wish I could remember our guide's name. I got very nervous after falling off and he helped me through it all. Very fun if you haven't tried it.

This is a great way to quickly cover a lot of ground and see the city. The segways are great fun. The only negative is that you spend quite a bit of time traveling so not as much time learning about the sites.

We booked a 3 hour Segway tour on the first morning of our 5 day stay in Chicago. It was a fantastic way to start our time there and even though it rained for the second half of our tour (City Segway provide disposable ponchos - very fetching!!) we still had an absolutely fantastic time! Anyone who is nervous of... More

We enjoyed our recent 3 hour Segway tour of the park, museum and stadium areas and Northerly Island in Chicago. Tammy was a very good guide and provided us with a plethora of history. It was clear she loves Chicago and all it has to offer. The majority of our tour group had never been on a Segway and after... More

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown / The Loop
Often visitors' first stop in Chicago, The Loop is a good starting point to sample the city's energy and flavor. This central business district boasts Michelin-rated restaurants, upscale hotels, premier shopping, and enough arresting architecture to keep your camera busy for hours. You won’t find too many photo galleries of downtown Chicago without a shot of Millennium Park and Cloud Gate (“The Bean”), one of the most iconic landmarks in the city.
