Booked on line and received phone call back. They told us the area we wanted was closed due to street construction and they would honor the 45.00 per person at the other location. This was confirmed verbally 3 times and assured when we arrived at the location they could split credit cards because we had 6 in our party. When... More

One if by land, two if by sea...this is the by land tour following our kayaking adventure. My daughter wasn't fond of the idea because she thought that she wouldn't be able to drive a Segway, but she was a natural. The weather was perfect, our instructors and guides were enthusiastic and knowledgable. If you can, go during the weekday... More

As a top contributer for Trip Advisor, I don't believe I have ever given a poor rating on a business. Chicago Segways Tours web site offers lowest prices, July specials... Etc... The catch is you are required to pay cash. I talked twice on the phone prior to our reservation of 13 people in July. This was not mentioned. I... More

What an experience to remember!! All future vacations will include a segway tour if possible. There were four (4) of us, my husband and I are 39, my Mother is 58 and our daughter is 18 and we ALL enjoyed this tour. We were all new to the segway but learned very fast and had no troubles during the entire... More

If you just want to try a segway then sign up but if you are trying to learn much about Chicago this is not the tour I would recommend. Pros: Mitchell was very entertaining. There were 2 very helpful employees who made learning fun and easy. Cons: Hidden costs, rude/indifferent staff. Not a lot of insight was offered about Chicago...it... More

If you’re looking for a Segway tour company that will cheat you out of your money, then ignore and belittle you when you call them on it, this is it! I am a teacher who brought 12 students to Chicago and we placed our reservation by phone several weeks ahead of time. A few weeks later, we called back and... More

Took the Lakeside route to the Museum area and it was such a beautiful view all along! Our tour guide was fun and entertaining. I found the segway to be very easy and fun to ride. I can't wait to go again!

We've taken Segway tours in other places before. This one was good. It follows the waterfront sidewalks from Navy Pier to Soldiers Field and back. It was fun!

Staying in Streeterville

Neighborhood Profile
Streeterville
Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities. You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you can also visit other popular attractions there such as the Chicago Children’s Museum and the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Off the pier you’ll find more restaurants from low-cost pubs to high-end establishments. Arts and culture aficionados should be sure not to miss the Museum of Contemporary Art.
