If you get an opportunity to see Buddy Guy preform at his club, do not hesitate to go. I wish I would have gone sooner. Make sure you get there early, as around 6:00 on a Sunday (when I arrived) it was only standing room remaining. The tables/ seating area (where they also serve southern style food), are in front... In a group of around 15, we shared a great evening of American food ranging from great ribs, burgers, salads and very nice appetizers, in an a environment where several interpreters and a band sang some of Guy Buddy's music. Music was live, great, and dishes were good quality and great size. Location is in downtown Chicago, very convenient for... More

We visited here on our trip to USA last year and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere at Buddy Guy's. Miss Peaches was extraordinary and we would definitely return here if we visit Chicago again.

We wanted to do something that we can't do back home and we came to Buddy Guy's! The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable. When you walk it, its like walking back in time and once you see the guitars on the walls and pictures of artists, you know you are in good place w/... More

The wall art of guitars from talented performers is worth the visit alone to this establishment. You can actually feel the smile and warmth that Buddy always has when you enter Legends. Ensure any pre-purchased tickets match the calendar as we did have tickets for a concert that didn't exist as it occurred five hours earlier. After some negotiations we... More

Enjoyed Buddy Guy's our last night of a 4 day stay in Chicago. Took folks advice and went for the early dinner. This avoided the cover charge. Arriving when it opened, we had plenty of time for live music, drinks and dining. Certainly a highlight.

I visited The blues club of Buddy Guy's way back when. I had a day stop over in Chicago on my way down to Memphis and so of course Chicago is also home of the Blues North Coast. Buddy's Club has great live music, great acoustics, great sound, great Entainment, great people, great music. What else could a person need.:-)

Spent a few hours here on a Thursday night in December. Acoustics were great, and the crowd appreciative. Even had a bonus when Buddy Guy himself stopped in to enjoy a drink with his blues. Took a star away because the Friday cover was double the Thursday. We didn't stay that night.

Often visitors' first stop in Chicago, The Loop is a good starting point to sample the city's energy and flavor. This central business district boasts Michelin-rated restaurants, upscale hotels, premier shopping, and enough arresting architecture to keep your camera busy for hours. You won’t find too many photo galleries of downtown Chicago without a shot of Millennium Park and Cloud Gate (“The Bean”), one of the most iconic landmarks in the city.
