Our group of four from central Illinois enjoyed this tour very much. We were impressed with the tour leader, and with the variety of "tourists" - some from the neighborhood, and some from the middle east...This was the first time I had been to Chicago for a day trip and did not go to the loop and I didn't miss... Three of my girlfriends and I took the Bucktown/Wicker Park food tour today and had a great time. Our guide, Gina, was very professional, educating, and fun. This is our third tour with this company and they do it right. The selection of the food and different places to tour were very interesting. I have lived in the Chicagoland area... More

I enjoyed the food tour. I have been on the bucktown one, and now the gold coast. I really want to go to the chinatown one next. I look forward to it! It is always great to not only try new food, but to see and hear about the beautiful architecture in Chicago.

The tour was so well organized from beginning to end. No stone was left unturned. Fabulous tour guide who was exceptionally knowledgeable and fun to be with. We had all ages on our tour and it appealed to all of us. Would highly recommend Food Planet tours for tourists and locals alike.

I was part of a group that did the Near North tour, it was a fabulous time and our guide Jess was spectacular. Just the right blend of food, history and walking for a mixed group of ages. I can't wait to try the other two neighborhood offerings and will recommend to friends and colleagues.

The "Near North" tour is the best way to see, taste, and hear about some of Chicgo's history. The just under 2 mile walk is a very nicely paced walking and eating experience. The varity of stops on the tour were perfect and well planned.

This was a great tour to explore some of the neighborhoods of Chicago that the typical tourist otherwise wouldn't get to see. We took the Bucktown/Wicker Park tour and truly enjoyed not only the food but also the historical/architectural information provided. Our tour guide, Kent, was a plethora of information! We experienced some well known eateries and also some local... More

Although I'm a native Chicagoan and have lived here and loved this city all my life, I still learned a lot about Chicago and various foods -- while enjoying terrific meals and snacks. It was really fun!
