I really enjoyed the Gold Coast/Old Town food tour, with Amber as our guide. She has energy that puts the Energizer Bunny to shame, and her enthusiasm brightened up an otherwise gray and damp day. The stops were well thought out, the food portions appropriate, and the history and architecture tidbits were very interesting. I hadn't explored this portion of... More

I had so much fun on this tour (Old Town). Our guide was funny and fantastic, the food was amazing, and I learned a lot about the area and about food in general - not just what we ate. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys food, walking tours, and learning! If you're a nerd like me, this is... More

We had a great time on the food tour. I have visited this area of Chicago in the past and learned a lot from the tour that I didn't know. The food was great and our guide was so nice and easy to talk to. She encouraged us to get to know our group and that really made it a... More

Had a great time and met a lot of great people in my group. The pastry shop at the end was awesome and I had to go back to the spice shop after and buy a few things to take home.

The Chicago Food tour was so much fun. We got to see things we probably never would have seen before. Amber is the best guide, she is so full of life. She sure knows how to take a gray rainy days and make you think the sun was shining. I would defiantly do this again.

This food tour was fantastic! The selection of food was diverse and unique to the Chicago area. Our guide, Christina was extremely enthusiastic, vibrant and knowledgeable! In between the tastings she led the group through local neighborhoods and shared information regarding the history and architecture of the area. She also pointed out some locations/buildings that were used in TV shows... More

The Chicago Food Planet Food Tour which I took today was one of the most delightful, delectable truly delicious tours which I have ever experienced. The tour guide Jess was enthusiastic and knowledgeable and she made the tour so interesting as she pointed out the history and background of each store and eating establishment which we visited. Picked this from trip advisor and did the Gold Coast tour, starting at Lou Manatis pizza, onto some odd ones like a tea place but a triumphant ending at the oil and the spice shops which were fantastic. Tour guide was kent who shared great all round knowledge of the areas. If you like food definitely worth the punt.

Going on the Gold Coast tour and being pretty familiar with the Chicago area, I wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised by what a new experience it was. It wasn't just about food but history, architecture and culture in this area of Chicago. Our guide was extremely friendly and knowledgable. She encouraged us to ask questions and... More

We did the Gold Coast and Old Town tour and it was fabulous! So much history and great family owned restaurants that we never would have known about otherwise. Our guide Krista was so awesome and we loved her. Highly recommend this tour while visiting Chicago.
