I was expecting little chi-chi tastes of fancy food but ended up filling up on lots of great food -- full portions, delicious real Chicago eats -- and, on top of all that, historical and architectural info about a beautiful neighborhood I'd never visited before. Our guide, Kent was fantastic (Kent's Mom, take note - he was great). From hot... More

Well, I have to say that my experience with Chicago Food Tours was so positive that it got me to write my first positive TripAdvisor review: my first and only TA review to date was to bash a terrible Indian restaurant in London. My wife and I travelled to Chicago to visit some good friends and decided to try the... More

Our food planet tour was awesome. We are a business outside of Chicago and we wanted something new and exciting to bond over. This was an excellent experience and we all learned so much from this tour. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and all the food was prepared as soon as we walked in the door. Overall, this is... Wicker Park/Bucktown tour was about 3 hours of walking but is broken up nicely across 6 stops including a great walking tour of the surrounding neighborhood. The stops are all an incredible variety ranging from a Chicago-style hot dog to the most delicious cup of hot chocolate I've EVER tasted (take the tour and tell me I'm wrong). Our tour... More

I travelled alone with my 2 yr old daughter but that didn't stop me from booking this tour. I paid a fraction of the price for her but it was so worth it. I got double the portions :) that meant I got a slice of pizza to take home. We passed by several districts and loved learning the history... More

Enjoyed the tour. Kent was a knowledgeable and engaging guide, and really gave us a local feel for the area. The architectural elements of the tour were great, and the pacing was pretty good. We were pretty full by the end of the tour, so the amount of food was good, and the support for local businesses was great.

Food was great. We got to see a neighborhood really in depth and learned a lot about the history and culture. Our tour guide Kent was entertaining and very informative. Great experience! We'll definitely check out another tour on our next visit to Chicago!

The Lincoln Park food tour is my 3rd Chicago Food Planet tour experience (China town is next on my list when I return to Chicago.) and it didn't disappoint. Shorter than the other food tours this didn't detract from the great food experience. I loved the deep filled pizza, bagel and all of the sweet treats. Angie our tour guide... More
