Was visiting some friends in November and we had the idea of doing a food tour of the Wicker Park area. For someone new to Chicago this was a great opportunity for me to learn the history of an awesome neighborhood, as well as try some amazing local dishes and local favorites. From pizza to hot chocolate to Indian food,... More

We came from Chile to visit this beautiful city of Chicago. From my point of view, although Chicago has lots of sightseeing, it is a perfect city to discover through this kind of food tours because it has many beautiful hidden places and neighbors that for us is not easy to find out without this kind of tours. The experience... More

This is my first time in Chicago. I'm a chilean tourist and this is my experience. Im a gourmet lover, and I love to probe food in new places. For this reason, my boyfriend and I chose a different tour; we chose a "Food Tour". The tour was conducted with a special guy, very funny and histrionic. He knew all... More

I use to live in the Wicker Park area for several years before moving out of the area - this tour allowed me to see a whole new side of the neighborhood. While back in town to visit some family and friends we decided to take part in the Saturday afternoon tour. Our tour guide Kent did a great job... More

The tour was good and the walk plus historical info were interesting. I enjoyed the visits to the tea shop and spice shop the most. The guide we had was lovely. However the food I tasted was nice but not amazing. I think if you come from a major international city like London then this tour isn't going to blow... More

I went on the Bucktown/Wicker Park tour on a chilly November day, and the extra-crisp weather couldn't ruin an excellent tour. Our guide, Carrie, performed her job flawlessly with her enthusiasm, knowledge, and ability to answer our questions. Anyone who loves food and local architecture would be remiss to miss this. From the perfect Chicago dog to an irresistible cup... More

My family and I attended the Buck Town and Wicker Park food tour three years ago and while I loved that one, I think the Chinatown tour is even better. We visited 4 different locations for 5 different tasting experiences (2 tasting experiences were combined into one location due to business remodeling). Our guide was well informed and took us... I went on this tour expecting great things, and I was not disappointed in the least. We started out with some of the best pizza I have ever eaten and moved on to some of the best tea I have ever tasted. I was intrigued with all the stops along the way in the quaint neighborhood, sampling oils and spices,... More

I would consider this my first "real" food tour experience, and this is exactly what I envisioned a food tour should be. I did the Bucktown/Wicker park tour and above all else, it was fun, engaging, and the food choices were excellent. Christina, our guide, was charismatic and knowledgable and did an outstanding job. I was impressed by how much... More

M boyfriend took me on the Chinatown tour for my birthday and we were not disappointed. Exceeded expectations on all fronts. Being from Chicago, we were specifically interested in the Chinatown tour because it's a little harder to navigate than other neighborhoods. After the tour, we not only had deliciously full bellies but felt a lot more knowledgeable about the... More
