Very nice waterpark run by the city of Rockford Park District but the lines are so long that it takes for ever to ever get to ride the rides which are very short. All that said its still waiting on a hot summer day yet they could bring the price down from the $24 per person to get in. Remember... More

Great place! I really liked that they offer free lifejackets for children. My family and I really liked the lazy river. The actual rides had really long waiting times because people can get speed passes and cut ahead of you in line. At one point i lost who I was with and went to the service desk and asked if... More

Magic waters is one of the cronw jewels operated by the Rockford Park District. They have something for everyone of every age! Tiki island is great for the children, Lazy river is fun for all, the wave pool really ROCKS to even the wading pool for the kiddies. Double Dare is great for the teens. They allow you to bring... PROS: Free parking; can bring own coolers in; plenty of space for people(benches, chairs); great attractions/rides; affordable food; the kids loved the Splash Blaster and Wave pool; the Double Dare attraction was fearsome to behold and a hoot to watch people plunge from at least 6 stories high down to the bottom; I saw more than 1 teenager turned around... We're Wisconsin Dells fans so what a nice surprise this park was! Clean, friendly staff, and the water coaster was a blast! I broke my toe (no fault of the park at all!) and first aid was great too. Will definitely consider a return trip next year.

This is a mid-sized waterpark run by the local park district. It's around 30 years old, but doesn't show it's age.Focus is completely on water attractions,no roller coasters or go-karts. Crowds are usually moderate compared with nearby Suburban Chicago or Wisconsin Dells.Easy access from interstate.Decent food.Above average number of lifeguards helps its outstanding safety record.Lots of restaurants and hotels nearby... Came here on a hot Friday in July. It wasn't too crowded earlier in the day. The lines were medium. The rides were pretty cool. The only problems our group had was that the decks and stairs were scorching hot. I'm not sure what they can do about this, but it was pretty bad. My feet were sore from burns... More

Great water park! The park was a lot bigger that expected and had little/no wait to get on rides. The wave pool was great, very clean and attended. The price was right if you go after 4 pm or during the week day. Is a very nice place to go if you are looking for something do to for a... More

We live near Magic Waters, so we go quite a bit. Like most waterparks, the state of the weather and the day of the week will usually determine how crowded it is. If it's a hot Saturday or Sunday, expect to wait in lines, some of which can get pretty long. This year they have had a good discount on... More
