I have been a customer for what seems like the better part of my adult life. There is no such thing as a bad batch of anything here! Give the dark chocolates a go.

The factory and the outlet store offers $2 tours (call ahead 847-459-0269). The outlet store is free to shop and has good prices on quality product $4 to $12 lb. Most of the product is sold in 1 lb bags but you can buy single pieces for (higher) full retail prices. The chocolate is good (comparable to Fannie May) but... More

I wanted to go on a factory tour, but the times that they gave tours were not what I could do. We did purchase a lot of chocolate while we were there. The chocolate was inexpensive. I was expecting inflated prices. I did see a variety of sugar free chocolate products. I would skip over the chocolate covered kettle corn,... More

I love this chocolate. I am a huge sweet tooth. This is one a few very good family owned chocolate spots. However, they do sell the chocolates at Jewel, so I do not get to the store as often as I used to. However if you go to there or the factory-chocolate strawberrys rock there. I also like the mint... Fannie May long as been the gold standard for chocolate lovers in Chicago. Since my favorite outlet on North Michigan Avenue closed a few years ago, I have become a regular at the outlet at Michigan and Wacker, next to the Blackhawks' home store. But every once in a while, I have to make a trip to the Long Grove... More

This used to be a great "outlet" for their factory rejects, but it has changed into a regular retail shop... lots of free samples, some highly reduced out of season items, great selection of single candies, and so on. Helpful staff with be glad to help you decide (they even open packages so you can "taste test")! Always a good... More

Willy Wonka has nothing on these people. Always a crowd and with good reasonable, remembering you are getting the very best. Walk the store and marvel and the colossal selection, try try try.

Store is in the process of remodel, so probably shouldn't judge the facility and the tour only runs once a day. Female employee was not overly friendly and seemed bothered we visited (most stores will greet customers..). To be fair it was getting towards closing time, but we weren't interested in purchasing much with the cool reception...will also share that... More

Years ago this place had a better selection of chocolate and the store was much more displayed. It was disappointing to see it evolve this way.

There seems to be some confusion in the following reviews. The Lexington Drive address (above) is the corporate headquarters, the factory (with tours) and the outlet store. The retail store in Long Grove mentioned in some of the reviews is at a totally different location. Tours cost $2 a person (accommodating 10-30 people) and are offered three times daily during...
