Good park

This park is a great place to take the kids and relax. The bait shop is great and the fishing pretty good also.

We could picnic, fishing was fun, walk the area. Relaxing and you can't ask for more. The kids sure enjoyed the fishing.

It's a narrow area to drive to the park. So be careful their are runners. Go when there is day light cause looking across the lakes, It Looks like Michael Myer or Jason is going to pop out. They are still working on parts of the Park. They have benches all over the park but no real paths to the... More

Away from everything but close to my house little lakes create very romantic atmosphere . My dog loves it . We like to eat lunch there and just sit around people are fishing there too or walk the trail

clean, well appointed, quite (most of the time). Great place foe the kids to run and play but the park is built around a number of ponds. No fences, no lifeguards. If you bring toddlers or non swimmers, come with life vests!

There is a lot to do with the kids. Picnic areas, fishing, paths, and indoor learning activities too.

Lakes are stocked every 2 weeks. Many fishing derby's. Large Nature Center. Snow shoe rentals in winter. Nature Center is green. No state license required to fish. Adults pay a fee (resident and non-resident).

It is better in the fall, not as many bugs and the air is much crisper. Bike trail is short so that makes it okay for smaller children.

I live near the park and take a one hour walk, usually accompanied by my wife, every day that it doesn't rain. My walk takes right through the park. What is disappointing is that they are losing the nice trees and not doing anything about it. This is even more true of the wooded areas around the park. I've been... More

The lakes are fun if you love fishing, but if you're looking for natural beauty I suggest checking out other places. Lily Cache Greenway is especially beautiful off 111th and Weber - a trail loops past the soccer fields, around the lake, through restored prairie, and out toward the water tower. Riverview Farm has a lovely old stone farmhouse. And... More
