Hike

You must hike on the mountain trail and to the point to absorb the full grandeur of the place. The beach is best view from the top of Malin Beg and the watchtower as well

While holiday homes are now plentiful in the area it remains, without a doubt, unspoilt by development. I am a frequent visitor to this spot and have lost count of the times my journey has been interrupted by sheep on the road. Finally arriving at the small car park serving the beach it is difficult not to be impressed by... More

We had a beautiful spring day to drive from Donegal town to Malin Beg. Enjoy the drive there and watch out for the sheep on the roads. It's like arriving at the end of the world. Road finishes and the peace & quiet begins. There were only 2 other cars when we were there and had the whole beach to... More

Another beautiful beach - one of my favourites. There is something very quiet and peaceful and relaxing about this little gem. The climb down to it and up from it might be daunting for some but worth it in the end.

I found this beach completely on accident while looking for my b&b. While it was closed, the views from the parking lot were gorgeous. Well worth it for that alone.

clean, stunning view and not too busy. The weather was great, so I suppose we were spoiled. Great cafe at the top of the beach and Chris who worked there was very nice/

We stopped off here on the way to Slieve league. The views from the parking area overlooking the beech and headlands are excellent. The beech is perfect spot for relaxing and reading a book. On our visit we were treated to some naturism:)

You must visit here. The beach is worth the climb down and back up. The shelteres beach is a lovely place for a stroll and swim. The sand is beautiful and gold and the water torqouise on a sunny day. Make sure you stop here.

A gorgeous secluded cove with a lovely beach. However, if you go down the 160 steps be sure you can get back up again!!

Situated on the chin on Ireland this beach is a cracker. Its a brief walk down some steps to get to the strand but worth the effort. Beautiful and remote.
