A mountain that suits everyone's ability. The terrain is well-groomed and the after ski is appealing. More

Bald Mountain has some great long runs and open bowls. But, if the snow is crunchy (frozen overnight) then the top is not much fun. Late in the season, they closed many of the Lifts serving the easy and more intermediate territories so the experience was not what it could have been. When it warmed up, the Spring Skiing was... The green runs were more like blue and without a lot of grooming on some of the runs, when there was a large snowfall the blue runs were more like black. It would be difficult to take a beginner to the top and expect then to feel comfortable to start. More

Skiing was of course weather dependent and there was a lot of bad weather. But one great day in full sun beats the heck out of a number of days under the clouds. Five stars if they did a better and more timely job of grooming the new snow. More

They really haven't had much snow for weeks, so I was thinking it was going to be a bad experience. I was very surprised to see that they made snow and they somehow were able to groom it to perfection. During the days it would be warm and by the end of the day it would be getting sloppy. In... It wasn't the best snow while I was there, as they had a lull in number of days since a good snow fall. But it was very well groomed, and the 3000 foot vertical allowed me to get more skiing time in than chair lift time. The lodge at the bottom was one of the nicest I've been to, with... More

I was surprised by the variety of intermediate runs on this mountain. They were fun and challenging, but not scary. This area seemed to get a lot of sun, which makes skiing here even more pleasant. The runs are very long, though, so it would take me awhile to get to the bottom, but overall, the runs were fun and... More

Here, green=blue in most areas. Very vertical compared to most other places. Quick lines and great lodges! More
