I watched my niece (15) and nephew (10) ride away from me, led by a friendly and capable cowboy. As they began their two hour trail ride, I headed over to the Galena Lodge to wait in comfort. The weather quickly changed and a storm rolled in, complete with heavy rain, lightning and loud bursts of thunder. I worried about...

We were a group ranging in age from 62 to 6. We did the 1 1/2 hr ride and loved every minute of it. Great horses, SPECTACULAR views, would recommend this ride to everyone!! Sam was our guide and he was awesome. We will be back to ride with him next year.

I reserved this ride from the same website as our Salmon River Rafting trip with Sawtooth Adventure Co. (SAC). As soon as I arrived I was made to feel at home, and chatted with the guides until the other riders arrived. I chose the 1 1/2 hr ride, but there are several choices. There were only 5 of us on...

Our family of husband, wife and two teenage daughters was treated to a wonderful horse experience in one of the most beautiful settings you could imagine. Redfish Lake is a scenic wonderland to begin with, but when you get off the track in into the back country on a horse, you feel like you're in a John Wayne movie. Our...

My husband, myself and another couple took a half day trail ride with Sam as our guide. We were pretty green riders but Sam made our trip more than enjoyable. He put us all at ease with his humor and conversation. He constantly checked to be sure we didn't need anything. He carried on great conversation, was considerate, kind and...

Our family took an hour-long guided trail ride. The staff were very experienced riders and very friendly, engaging our two young kids who had never been on a horse. Wonderful trail ride through sagebrush and lodgepole forest to a vista with stunning views of the Sawtooth Mountains and Redfish Lake. Our horses "Turbo", "Poco", "Dillon" and "Hollister" were great! I...

Redfish Lake Corrals is a sweet down home operation. Great horses -- they do a good job of matching to the rider. My horse Fred had just the right amount of spunk. They give an excellent preliminary class teaching how their horses are trained to respond. Talented guides whose lives are all about horses, and they have lot of history...
