When traveling to Central Idaho, Redfish lake is a must see while there. The lake is fed from mountain springs which makes the water crystal clear and blue. It's a bit cold, but in the middle of the summer heat it's really pretty perfect. If possible, take a boat to the far end of the lake where there are hiking... More

Long a favorite of mine when visiting this area. It has grown very congested and crowed. Avoid it during high season if you can.

water was refreshing temperature, sunny and just right as of last weeks in June. This lake is good for stand-up paddleboarding.

Every year in July my wife and I renew our vows at Redfish and we love the peace and relaxation that we find having fun at the lake, the staff are really super nice and we love the live music and out door snack shack... The ice cream was awesome. If I could live there year round I would....the views... More

The entire staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the Marina and General Store. The facilities were more than adequate to support the number of guests, even when completely full. The view of the Sawtooth mountains is amazing.

We moved to Idaho from Alaska and we both agree there is no better scenery there. The lodge was noisy early with weddings and the bar below our ver small rustic room overlooking the lake with a view of the mountains, but it quieted down. Down side of the lodge is the community bathroom nd showers. Our friends stayed in... More

The area is absolutely stunning. it is a perfect place to take family. Teenagers can stay busy and involved for days upon days. The water activities are fun and reasonable priced equipment is available. Food choices and availability pleased everyone in our group. It is made to order and has healthy selections.

The lake has spectacular views !! The water is extremely cold and perfectly clear. Lots of families. Beach was crowded even though it was a chilly day. It depends on what your plans are to determine your length of stay. Picnicking and fun with family and friends can be an all day adventure. There's a general store, restrooms, lodge, and... More
