This was my second Tom's to Redfish Lake and it is beautiful. Last time we rented a pontoon boat and toured the lake. This time we found a beach and camped out for the day. We played on SUP that friends rented at the marina. Also played on kayaks! Great fun! I wish we could have spent more time.

Great 6 mile (approximate) hike on well marked trail from Redfish Lake Lodge to top of Redfish Lake. Side trail to Bench Lakes adds about 3 miles RT and 1000 ft elevation (again approximate). Scheduled boat brings you back to Lodge for $10. Sweet.

Beautiful lake, but a bit crowded. A boat will take you across to save you miles in a beautiful hike.

Redfish Lake has it all. Fishing, boating, hiking, beauty, quiet mornings and a traditional lodge with live entertainment. Make sure to make reservations well in advance for either camping or Redfish Lodge. The limited overnight places are what keeps the crowds dispersed and make it a wonderful vacation destination. .

Below the stunning Sawtooth mountain range is a hidden gem called Red Fish Lake. A small rustic lodge and smaller cabins are nestled against the most beautiful lake surrounded by mountains and even white beaches. Family oriented with kayaks, paddle boards, paddle boats, and even a doggie beach. Camp sites surround the lake except for a small area where the... More

Redfish Lake and Lodge are surrounded by beautiful mountains. You feel years younger after a visit. There is good food and a great environment. Some families have been returning here for generations. Many outdoor offerings.

When traveling to Central Idaho, Redfish lake is a must see while there. The lake is fed from mountain springs which makes the water crystal clear and blue. It's a bit cold, but in the middle of the summer heat it's really pretty perfect. If possible, take a boat to the far end of the lake where there are hiking... More

Long a favorite of mine when visiting this area. It has grown very congested and crowed. Avoid it during high season if you can.

water was refreshing temperature, sunny and just right as of last weeks in June. This lake is good for stand-up paddleboarding.
