Walk around Lake Monger.

A large lake in the Stirling area, a wonderful walk around it anytime of the day, refreshes the soul.

Lake Monger offers a relaxing break from Perth's city buzz. The reserve has a large lake that support a substantial wldlife...including snakes. The concreted paths around the lake is good for cycling and blading (although be warned at certain times of the year debris from overhanging trees do mess up your ride). There are kids areas and dogs are allowed... More

Popular tourist attraction for Perthites, interstate and international tourists. Swans and other birdlife make the lake home. nesting in reeds and bushes. Plenty of joggers, cyclers and people walking dogs...or is it dogs walking people..taking the opportunity to exercise around the lake and grass and outdoor gym equipment. Great photo opportunities around the lake. Families can enjoy barbeques and picnics,... More

Great place to exercise 3.5kms once round! Kids playgrounds on the way round! Lots of bird life to keep you distracted from your run!

Our Probus walking group met here for our weekly morning walk. The morning was fresh, but Lake Monger was in its wake-up mode, with wildlife in abundance and the park surrounding it well maintained. The morning was completed with a picnic breakfast at one of the tables provided. Toilet facilities also conveniently nearby.

Love walking around this lake. The black swans are gorgeous. Usually busy with other walkers early morning and afternoons.

Want to see a load of swans while you exercise? This is the place to go. It's generally safe during the day as there are a number of families and people walking around the lake. Please don't make the rookie mistake of feeding the swans and ducks bread... As there is a sign that informs you not to!

My friend lives near the lake and when staying with her, from the UK, I would walk around it each morning. Going over the Freeway bridge you have a magnificent view of the Perth skyline.a fabulous place to power walk or stroll along. Love it!

Lovely area to walk around the lake. No black swans they seemed to have moved on. Any ideas where I might find some in Perth?
