Lake Monger has recently undergone renewal works to restore much of the natural look & feel of the area. A popular place for joggers and walkers the path around the lake is about 3.5Km. Two gazebos are located over the lake and offer excellent views of the bird life on the water. Bar-B-Ques are available for public use as are... More

Unfortunately I had a fair walk to get to the lake from my hotel. Consequently I wasn't able to walk all around the lake. However I still saw plenty of birds including black swans, white correllas and water birds. There were family friendly facilities including a play area and plenty of seating. The Lake is beautiful and well worth a... More

I jog here with a mate and love everything but the midgies in summer. Last trip was a bike ride with my bro and Little Miss 7. We had a whale going round the easy 3-4km bike path, stopping for the playgrounds on the way of course. Toilet block on south side came in handy for the small bladder!

This is a great place to come and relax or go for a walk. It's beautiful to see black swan as this is the only place in the world where they can be seen.

This is a beautifully tranquil spot situated close to the Perth city centre. It's great to run or cycle around and has several workout stations on route so you can do pull ups and leg presses. For running outside, with numerous shady spots, I think you'll be hard pushed to find a better location. It's also great for ramblers and... More

The locals come here to walk, jog or cycle around the 3.5km circuit or take the kids to the fenced playgrounds. The visitors come to see the wildlife, particularly the black swans and Japanese tour buses stop at the lake for a photo stop. What is hard to imagine now in this tranquil oasis close to the city is that,... More

Nestled among the offices of Osborne park and Herdsman, the lake is a great place to explore, walk or jog. Lots to look at, but mind out for snakes in season. Great duel purpose cycleway all the way around.

We had a fantastic afternoon, we were even chased by a family of black swans. The kids love the paths and the playgrounds, all of the mums were great to talk to as well.

We went for the 3.5 kilometre walk around the Lake Monger last Sunday evening. It's a great place for all the family to enjoy. The paths are set up for walking, jogging, cycling et cetera, and they are well used. There are large expanses of lawn, as well as picnic areas and barbeques. We had the added joy of seeing... More

A breath of fresh air on the door step of Perth. Great place to exercise, walk, see the wildlife including majestic black swans and the turtles. The Japanese love seeing the black swans.
