Lower Bay Beach is one of the most popular in Bequia, and no wonder why! It is a great beach perfect for family, friends or if you just want to relax by yourself. The water is soothing, the sand is beautiful. Its a lovely beach.

It has white sandy beach with clear blue crystal waters, take a picnic with you, sit under the trees and read a book, meet new friends, or go snorkelling along the reef. You can also visit De Reef restaurant and Bar, or Keegan's Bar just on the water front if you need a local rum punch or fruit punch. What... More

Lower Bay is second only to Princess Margaret Beach. It's much longer with bits of old coral reef jutting up on the tide line and with quite good snorkeling to be had at the very far end. There are a number of pretty good eateries and bars too, which in season quite simply 'bop'. Out of season not all of... More

I counted 20 people at the most on the beach at any one time during our stay. Nice choice of eateries for any budget. Keegans, Dawns, nothing fancy but good food, good beer and peace and quiet.

Great spot to swim, and spend a relaxing afternoon, and drinks and food are readily available from a variety of restaurants. Use sunscreen, and drink plenty of water, as the sun is hot here

Loved the look, the feel of the sand, the view, the way the sun rose and sank, the boats in the harbour - everything. If you want lots of action, go during Easter weekend when the regatta is in full swing. We went the day after and it was amazing how quiet and sleepy the entire island was. Just what... More

White sands, warm waters, changing rooms and shower room. We had a family reunion on the Island it was just perfect. We took the boat over from Kingstown which took roughly an hour then took taxi which was about 10 minutes. We had the beach to ourself for about 3 hrs then late afternoon it started to get a bit... This is a gorgeous beach which is easily accessible by car and has a number of great places to grab a cocktail or a bite to eat. Let's skip right to the downsides... - It's not always the cleanest beach. Some of the locals don't give a rip about littering. So that stinks. -The water can be on the rough... More
